Hello! Any recommendation for doctors in the south hills area who support a vba2c? I have had, in this order, csection, vbac, csection. Both csections were because of stubborn breech babies I went to Dr. Mackay at Advanced Women's care in Mcmurray this morning and he was very against the idea of a vbac in general and suggested the rest of the team there would be as well I was hoping to deliver at St. Clair Hospital but am open to other options. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I don't know if this helps, but my practice is Magee Womanscare Associates in Bethel. I've had 2 prior C-sections. My OB said they would let me go 1-1.5 wks. past my due date, and if I went in to labor on my own, I could proceed with a TOLAC...leading to a VBA2C if it gets there.
She emphasized they would no way induce me in the hopes of a VBAC (obviously). And I should have my c/s scheduled 1-2 weeks after my DD as a back up. She told me of the multiple providers in the practice (10-12) there are only 1 or 2 that wouldn't be comfortable with the VBAC.

They deliver at Magee and Presby, I think.
