I bought candy and chocolate enough for about 20 kids because last year I only had about 8 come to my door...i ran out because this year I had 50 plus! lol they started getting fruit roll ups and mini choc chip cookie packs hahaha
We went to a friend's house last night to watch movies and eat pizza. Got to steal some of their excess candy, so we didn't have to buy candy and don't have a ton laying around. Phew!
We usually get 50-75 kids, so hubby got a few big bags. He is so thoughtful though and he got all candy that I can't eat, (food allergies), so I won't be tempted. And this is even better because we got maybe 10 kids this year so there is a lot leftover.
We didn't hand out anything. We purposely buy it last minute because I will eat it if it's in the house, but the 2 stores I went to yesterday were sold out, and I didn't have time to check any of the other stores near us. I'm kinda sad about not having any leftover chocolate...
