Chorionic Bump

Does anyone have experience or insight on a chorionic bump? My doctor didn't mention it but in the ultrasound notes (that get posted for me online) it noted a small one. Googling has not helped so thought I'd check in here!

    From my understanding it's usually an area of blood that is typically re absorbed or it could be an embryo that failed to develop. I don't know if they can actually tell the difference or not and if it makes any difference on the health of the pregnancy. I would definitely be curious and want to ask the doc or midwife.

    I have a little pocket of blood also! Most of the time it does resolve itself :)
