First born "bucket list?"

Hey all! So I'm just curious for all you moms with multiple kids, what are some things you made sure to do with your first child before your second baby joined the family? It's really been hitting me that our time with DD as an only child is coming to a close, and I've been trying to think of special things to do together before baby comes. TIA

I have such mixed feelings, because I know that DD's world is going to be rocked by the arrival of her sibling. However, I know that we have tried to do as much as we can with her while we are a family of three. I wanted to take a family vacation before the crazy starts, and we are going to Aruba for a week in April. Here's hoping it goes smoothly and we make wonderful memories before my due date arrives.

I think the best thing we can do is such cuddle, read, play, laugh, and have as much quality time as possible. We try to do things together on the weekends as a family as much as possible. Hope this helps and good luck! We are giving them a gift, no matter how hard it seems.

I think it depends on the age of your first. When my son was born by daughter was only 16 months, and so had no real understandin leading up to it. DH and I knew that once DS was around I would be spending most of my time with him (especially as I would be breastfeeding) and so we focused on getting me as much DD-mommy time as possible. I did all the bed times I could, lots of reading, cuddling and play time.

This time around I feel like DS is getting a bit ripped off as we are doing a bit of the same, but it's both DD and DS, so he isn't getting much 1:1 time. Oh well.
