Color Aversions??

Hi! Pretty new here, and this is my first pregnancy. I'm a little more than 7 weeks along and have noticed that I can't wear anything red, maroon, or burgundy (used to be my favorite colors!). The sight of reddish clothing nauseates me!
My mom said my grandmother had this same symptom... Has anyone else experienced this?! It's so bizarre!

    ^ I was just gonna say, I wouldn't be surprised if some people do and maybe don't realize it. Lol but it kinda makes sense because there are studies that say colors affect how you feel so why wouldn't they make you feel sick? Something to think about I guess.

    That would be a tough symptom to deal with. With bad smells it's easy to whiff something good until the wave of nausea passed. it's not like you can walk around with your eyes closed.

    I've found that certain things bother me that didn't use to. Like bright sunlight in the house, used to love it now I hate it. I don't have headaches, so I'm not sure why it bothers me.

    The weird mysteries of pregnancy. :-/

    It's funny, but when you Google it, one woman says she developed an aversion to her favorite pair of shoes and another said she couldn't eat sweet potato soup because she couldn't stand the colour orange! It's pretty interesting!

    Crazy!!!! I don't doubt it tho. The only thing weird I've done is get sick to my stomach at the grocery store looking at all the food. Especially the meat department. I was trying to hold it in. Maybe that's not so weird.... Idk. But looking at colors has never made me sick.

    Ive been searching the internet for this. Glad im not the only one. Alll shades of pink nauseates me i cant look at it. Nobody in my circle has experienced such a thing. Im glad i found this post.

    Same here its pink colour for me. All shades of pink

    YES THE COLOUR BLACK makes me feel so nauseous if I see my work pants or anything in the colour black I feel so sick 🤢 I never want to wear it again it’s like a weird bizarre aversion
