Mild pyelectasis

My doctor told me that my baby's u/s was fine except for a mild case of pyelectasis about 5mm- 6mm. Although it is a common finding in boys what worries me the most is that it is a soft marker for Down syndrome. I'm not sure what the term "soft marker" means but now I have to see a specialist in my next appointment and I'm just worried sick. All I ever asked for is a healthy baby. Any other mommies going through this? Or have any information on this? Id appreciate it. Please keep my little Lorenzo in your prayers.

    My oldest had this and it resolved by 28 weeks... my twins did too... and it was gone by 28 weeks. Just try not to worry
