I'm being induced Monday Nov. 2nd (beyond excited ) this is my first time around with this procedure. Has anyone else went through it? I was hoping to get some experience advice. Like how long is labor ? What all they do ? My first baby came on her own, water breaks and 15 hours later she here. This labor idk what to expect but her.
Good luck on your induction!!! I don't have any advice, personally, but I know if you use the search function you will find a lot of posts about inductions.
I was induced at noon and baby was born at 8:35 pm. It went pretty quickly for me. My water broke at 34 weeks and five days so I didn't have much choice. He needed to come out to reduce risk of infection.
Unfortunately, induction or not, there is no way to predict how long your labor will take. Some people don't respond well to pitocin and have long labors with it, and others do just fine.
With my daughter I was induced at 6am on a Friday and she was born at 1:44am Sunday. Expect it to be long and be happy if it's shorter, especially if your body isn't ready. This time I am doing everything I can to avoid induction.
