2 missed periods and negative urine test...is it still possible?

So I have missed 2 periods and having all kinds of symptoms but negative urine test. Went to doctor and had negative urine test. I asked for blood test but he says not necessary because I'm not pregnant. He says my uterus at my yearly appt that day felt normal. He put me on hormone pills to have a cycle for 5 days. I've stopped after those 5 days completed as directed and still no AF. Is it possible that my doctor is wrong? Anyone experience this before? Any insight?

    Just for peace of mind, I'd insist on a blood test. I had a weak positive and then two days later a negative urine test. I went same day for blood test and I was positive!!
    It's your body and you're paying for your healthcare, so tell that doc you want a blood test. No reason to sit and worry and wonder.

    Thanks...I so agree. It's my body, it's my money! I will insist on blood test, this is crazy. It is going to be three months skipped in two weeks and my belly is looking bigger than it normally is. My husband asked me if I was sure I wasn't pregnant. Going back to that doctor. If I find that I am pregnant, I hope those hormone pills won't cause any harm ( it says do not take if u are pregnant). Thanks again for your encouragement

    OP have you gotten your blood test? if your regular caregiver Won't order it, I'd go to another clinic for a second opinion. It's likely negative, but you won't have peace of mind until you know. You CAN insist on them ordering the test.

    Ok thanks. Will insist. Just for peace of mind. The past two days I have felt so miserable. My husband found me lying on the bathroom floor. I wanted to stay near the toilet (nausea bad tonight) and my stomach hurts lots at the bottom. I think I will call in the morning for appt. something just isn't right.

    I have missed 3 periods. I had blood work to check for menopause because the pee tests were coming negative. Hormones all fine....not menopause. I got a positive test mid October that gave me a 1-2 week so 3-4 weeks pregnant. Went to confirm at doctors and it was negative. She told me the 5 test I took that week on different days, different times, different brands were all wrong. That day I spotted lightly for 2 days. Had an ultrasound at estimated 6 weeks. No baby. Went back to doctor and got another negative pee test. Then yesterday I got a positive. I took the test to my friend just to make sure I wasn't seeing things and I'm not crazy. She saw it too. I have been so bloated I look 5 months pregnant which is not normal. So much that coworkers are asking questions. I think I'm 7 weeks now but it is possible that I'm 14 weeks. My last period was beginning of August. My sister got all negative tests until it was confirmed at 18.5 weeks. I have been referred to gyno and just waiting for an appointment. In the meantime...I'll take my vitamins and wait. It's really frustrating but not much I can do about it

    Wow u sound just like me!!! Crazy. I got blood work done for hormones and all fine/normal. No menopause. He still insist on no beta hug test because doctor say I'm not pregnant. No baby on ultra sound either. All parts look good they say. He told me to wait another 2weeks then call him because still no period after now 3 going on 4 missed. And no period after Agysterin pills. So weird. I've gain so much wait in the belly and all test normal. What is going on with my body? Will pray and hang in there. You too...

    Finally someone I can relate too. I got my gyno apt for Dec 16th. I can't do up my pants anymore. I bought a bunch of new jeans in September and they were all just a bit big because of comfort. Now I have to use a hair tie to hold them closed. My Dr. Told me "go home and if you don't get your period in 6 months...come back". At least he referred me to the gyno. I'm 39, rh negative and it sure would be nice to get some care. I'm not testing anymore. I'll wait till my appointment. But I'm so glad I'm not alone. I'll keep you updated<3

    Also, I have a retroverted uterus which makes it that much more difficult to spot on an ultrasound. Any chance you have that too?
