Pretty excited about all of the cool ideas out there for dressing up your bump! Zombie babies poking out, Barbie "Miley" on a bump "wrecking ball", bun in the oven... soo cool! Just wondering if anyone else is incorporating their bump into a costume?
I usually dress up at the office, and for passing out candy, so this year I am going as a Magic 8 Ball. All black, and made an "8" for my belly and an icosahedron (totally had to look up what the thingy with the answers was called!). Pretty excited, and it's easy enough to look professional if I happen to have someone come in with a compliance issue.
Here are the props - I'll post a pic with it put together tomorrow!
Love it! I had actually not seen that idea in my bump costume searching until yesterday, saw it for the first time and thought it was adorable. I really wanted to do the skeleton baby tshirt but I had a really hard time justifying spending $30 for a tshirt on etsy (ok, DH had a hard time justifying and said it wasn't worth it for one day...) and all the ones that cost less were either not maternity or poorly made. Bummer
I got a shirt, but only because our SM "announcement" will be a photo of DH and I with me wearing that shirt. DH is dying to announce but I like to keep private life private, so that's our compromise. Plus side, it's my first maternity shirt and I realized how comfy it was when I tried it on.
I'm going to a Halloween party at a friend's house. I ordered a kangaroo costume from Amazon that has a baby kangaroo in the pouch. Not exactly dressing the bump but still incorporating the baby, and the costume is hilarious.
I got the skeleton baby shirt & DH has one with pizza & beer on the belly. It was $25 for both on etsy and we are using it to do our announcement and what we're wearing to take DS trick or treating instead of costumes this year. My bump isn't big enough to dress up as something more fun.
My girls are going as Anna and Elsa, my husband will be Cristoff (sp?), the dog will be Sven, and I will be Olaf. My tummy isn't big enough to pull off anything else. I was thinking about adding one of the Olaf sneeze creatures if I have time.
I'm going as (a pregnant) Michelle Duggar. Unfashionable empire waist maternity blouse, crewneck tee, ankle-length jean skirt and all. I'm also carting a couple of dolls which will have big "J"s safety pinned to their chests. B-) I need to practice the ridiculous hair.
I am dressing up as Pooh bear for my school's Halloween parade tomorrow. Figured I have a belly might as well use it. Even got my Co teacher to be eyore.
I don't have a bump or I would go as mike wazowski from monsters inc and make DS be silly. Two years ago I was 20-21 weeks on Halloween and didn't have a bump either. I'll have to plan number 3 two be due in November so I can dress up a bump! Lol
First BFP 12/2012, MMC at 9 weeks
Second BFP 6/2013, resulted in DS, born 2/23/14 :-)
Third BFP 5/2015, natural MC at 6 weeks
Fourth BFP 8/2015, hoping for sticky little brother or sister to H!
Proud SAHM to our little monkey H.
Pro Vax, extended breasftfeeder, ring sling and stroller loving mama. I don't judge you unless you don't vaccinate!

My husband and I will be announcing to our friends at our Halloween party (I'll be 15+1). I wanted a subtle costume and the best we could come up with was Quinn and Puck from "Glee" - so to a lot of people will think we're just a cheerleader and football player, but we're hoping it will slowly be figured out
We are doing a Trunk or treat event and none of our costumes coordinate lol. We are dressing up our trunk as cookie monster, I'm going as an xray (got the baby skeleton shirt and made a silver frame with Xray at the top to wear around the shirt), DH is going as Mr. Incredible. He had his heart set on it and I couldn't find a maternity elastigirl costume.
I wore the skeleton shirt and this was also my announcements to my students that I was expecting. I had told them that I had a surprise for them on Friday and when one of my students saw my shirt, he had asked me if I ate a skeleton for breakfast.
I'm going to a party as a knocked up 50s housewife and my husband is going as a milkman. I don't have much of a bump so I might enhance it with a pillow!

Ooh, DH and I did this in college, but I like the pregnant version so much better )
Here's my previous bump because I wanted to shamelessly AW
PS. this is from our city's downtown trick or treat that they do over lunch (10-2) on the last weekday before Halloween. So great because it ends up all 0-4ish year old kids and they give out things like little toys, kids books and animal crackers along with the typical candy. The littles get to participate and still be in bed early :-bd

I posted a pic of my other half and I as Bob Ross and A Happy Little Tree in the Halloween thread. But here is a front shot so you can see Baby P in my tree
@brittnyS10- Naturally, I didn't finish the costume until yesterday but I got DH a long sleeve red shirt and glued yellow yarn all over the front. Then I painted styrofoam balls brown and glued those onto the shirt too. It turned out really well and our friends loved it!
