This is mainly to settle my mind, just need anyones thoughts. So last month I got a positive 11dpo but started bleeding pretty bad to the point i didnt sustain the pregnancy. I ovulated on day 19 with taking clomid 3-7. I switched doctors today knowing this new one will monitor me a little bit. So I obviously ovulated since I did miscarry. But has anyone taken clomid a second month and ovulated sooner?? My doctor told me (and it makes sense) that with clomid you should ovulated 5-10 days after last pill and day 19 would be out of that range meaning the egg wasnt very good anyways. I am on day 12 now with not much cervical change and I am not hopeful at all this month, Just looking for some reassurance I guess but not trying to start a debate

What??
Are you seeing a FERTILITY DOCTOR that is administering this FERTILITY MEDICATION?
I have always ovulated very late when Clomid was administered. I'll be doing trigger shots going forward.

So you will be seeing a new dr. for your next cycle but not the current one, correct? I would suggest seeing an RE to be monitored properly. Is your new dr. an OB also? Did he/she say what the monitoring entailed? You should be triggering with an hcg shot to time ovulation and to be sure that you actually ovulate (after having an ultrasound to determine how many follicles you have and when they are mature). My guess is that you either need a higher dose of Clomid and/or a different med (such as Letrozole/Femara) to get you to ovulate sooner and have a viable egg.

I'm not sure I'm fully following your question but (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems like you think your chemical pregnancy was maybe due to late ovulation (leading to late implantation)... And you're now wondering if you can/will ovulate sooner this cycle? I can only answer this very generally by saying yes it is possible to ovulate much earlier on clomid, however everyone is different. Some people respond perfectly to clomid, whereas others sometimes don't respond at all. Is your RE monitoring you through blood work and ultrasound? Your RE is really the best person to ask, since he/she knows your specific situation. Out of curiosity- why did you switch to another RE after only one cycle? Or were you seeing an OB before, and now you're switching to an RE?
Please see an RE. A fertility doctor should be monitoring your fertility medications. And your reactions. I'm sorry for your loss and wishing you good luck!
