I'm 10 weeks and I finally got to see my doctor yesterday. I feel so much better now, huge sigh of relief! I am really going to try and remember this feeling and hope that it helps me get through the next couple of weeks until our NT scan.
At 9 weeks we had a dating ultrasound and found out that it was a twin pregnancy, except that Baby B did not make it past 8 weeks. So needless to say I've been anxious ever since and really wanted to talk to my own doctor about everything. She completely reassured me and did another ultrasound in the room so I could see Baby A kicking around and the heart beating. She also said that I could come in whenever I wanted to check on the baby, even if it's outside of the monthly appointment. She'd rather have me feel reassured than anxious. I love my Dr!
So ladies, let's try and remember the sigh of relief we feel when we see/hear baby's heartbeat. Especially during those times of worry (mostly in the middle of the night).
