I'm scared to miscarry :/

I am 6 weeks along and this is my first pregnancy. My boyfriend has had 4 miscarriages with 3 different girls in the past. It was all when he was younger so obviously the mothers were young to. I'm pretty sure he has it in his head I'm going to miscarry to. So it is making me very worried. I have been doing everything possible for the baby. Does any one else have worries like mine??

I think this worry is normal for every woman. Life is precious. Pregnancy is scary. And miscarriage is real.

However, just take care of yourself and relax! You are already off to a great start. Sending prayers!

As many as 1 in 4 pregnancies do end in miscarriages. I know that's not a settling number, but it has nothing to do with you. I miscarried back in June, and am very scared it'll happen again. But the doctors explained to me that the human body has very little tolerance for genetic abnormalities and if the sperm and the egg don't join perfectly and transfer genetic information without a glitch, then your body will reject it because it will have no chance at life.

I hear where you are coming from. I hope that helped. I don't wish anyone to go through the emotional pain of a miscarriage. Just know if you do, it's not you fault, nor is it your partners.

It's a real fear that every pregnant women in their first trimester is dealing with. Realize that things aren't in your control and focus on relaxing and making healthy choices for you and your baby. Groups like this are great for support, if you need it.
