Swelling Gums

in 1st Trimester
Is anyone else experiencing this? Have you heard anything that can help ease the pain from it? Orajel is a class C drug so I don't really want to use that unless it gets severe.

Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter)
Several MCs
DD born 2013 (our miracle "you can't have babies" baby!)

    Go to the dentist. Get a cleaning (not the deep cleanse that requires numbing). Mine hurt at first and my sis did a gentle cleaning and the swelling went down practically the same day.

    I work in dentistry and this is totally normal. Keep up the flossing and brushing regularly. Some dental insurances (such as Metlife) will actually allow for an extra cleaning during pregnancy so it wouldn't be a bad idea to look into it

    I also work in dentistry- like @S&DSwenson said, completely normal. You may want to put a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warm water and swish it twice a day (spit it out after like 45 seconds). It will help with the inflammation and prevent infection =)
