I went in for my 37 week appointment and to go over GBS results as well as blood work I had done due to severe itching on my hands and feet (Cholestasis). Doctor confirmed I was GBS positive and my liver enzymes were very high so we decided it was best to induce. I was already 3cm prior to induction. My labor was only 3 hours and with a handful of pushes he was out. I was lucky enough to have no stitches this time and my body feels great.
Our little man is absolutely perfect and we were fortunate enough that he did not need any help or NICU time. I thank god everyday that our son is healthy and that everything turned out amazing for us.

I was induced due to gestational hypertension. Labored for six hours sans meds and then got an epidural. Best decision ever. Was in active labor for about 14 hours and by the time my OB checked me the final time I had labored down so far that he was at +4! I pushed for six minutes. He is perfect and is doing fantastic! He looks just like his daddy.
Kimberly Elizabeth Edd: 11/15 Birthdate 10-25 7lb 9oz 21.5 inches
Woke up at midnight having bad contractions started timing them and by 1:30 they were 5-7 min apart. Since she was breech they wanted me to come in asap. I was in labor so we tried a version but it failed so at 4:30 we went back for a c section. She is doing perfectly! We are over the moon with our little princess
EDD 11/20 Born 10/20 @ 3:56am 8lbs 14oz 21.5 inches long
Went into the the hospital for a labor check due to light bloody dishcharge, and when I got there I was already 5cm dilated. I hadn't felt any contractions up until they checked me, and then they started coming on heavy every 3-4 minutes. After 18 hours of labor, two failed epidurals and 3.5 hours of pushing we welcomed our sweet boy via c-section due to his position. He didn't progress at all during those 3.5 hours of pushing. We've been in the NICU for the past week getting his jaundice, and feedings up to normal and we finally get to got home tomorrow! He's a big boy and my doctor was shocked at how much he weighed for being 4.5 weeks early. Big babies run in my family so I wasn't surprised. We are over the moon and love him more than anything!
Long labor and 5 1/2 hrs of pushing cuz she was sunny side up. Also went from a 4 to 9 so quickly i did it with no meds. Luckily we got epidural before pushing started. She is happy, healthy and beautiful. The pain seems like an eternity ago already.
I was induced due to history of precipitous labors. Started pitocin around 12, got epidural at 12:30 (took the doc 4 tries to get the right spot...didn't hurt but made me super nervous!), had water broken around 1:30 and baby was born after 3 pushes at 4:41. Baby is perfect and we are so in love!!!
Baby Cooper 7lb 14oz Born 27-10-15, 4.13am Due 14-11-15
I was a November mum but seems baby wanted to come early to be in the October club lol
Il try cut a long story short. Waters broke 9am on labour day (seemed funny at the time) contractions started at 11am and got intense by 1.30 so went to hospital. Got checked by midwife at 3pm and was 3-4cm continued contracting in the birthing pool until baby's heart rate started dipping around 5pm then got out of pool to be monitored using gas and air as contractions really sucked by then. At around 9pm after Dr's had been in and out trying to sort baby's heart rate I got checked again by a different dr who said I was then at 5-6cm even slow progress is progress so I kept going with the gas and air. At about 10.30pm got checked again by midwife and was told I was still same as she 1st checked 3-4cm... I decided I'd had enough and wanted the epidural. Well my epidural failed and didn't take my pain away it just made me unable to use my legs. Dr then decided to give me oxytocin to get me dilated faster and my contractions then kicked off really close together strong as hell and long only took 45 mins more and 3 pushes and he was out at 4.13am. Problem is with it being so long since my waters broke and him ending up coming so fast Cooper has been in the NICU for his breathing and an infection. He's getting better now and has started breastfeeding but can't come home for 5 days.
My twin boys Miles and Jonas were born 10/24 at 36w3d. I had a successful vaginal delivery, including a breech delivery of baby B. They both weigh 6 lb 5 oz and are healthy and oh so snuggly. We are all at home now with big sister getting to know each other.
Due to high BP the last few weeks of my pregnancy, I was scheduled for an induction to start the evening of 10/18. On 10/17, I ended up having to put my oldest dog down due to neurological issues and think I worked myself up and into labor. Early morning of the 18th, I started having contractions. Not enough to get into the hospital before my scheduled induction. Arrived at the hospital at 9 pm and 1cm dilated. They used a suppository to help soften my cervix and that seemed to be all I needed to keep the rest of the labor going. The doctor came in about 2-3 hours later to check on me and while determining that I was 2 cm dilated at that point (i honestly think the doctor checking my cervix was the most painful part of my pregnancy.. holy sh*t), he also broke my water. I believe I asked for the epidural sometime around 2 am? (the time is hazy.. I really hadn't slept for 2 days at this point). When the doctor came back in around 5:30 to check on my status because I had started to feel pressure almost constantly, he was surprised to find my baby's head was so far down that he kindly turned to my fiance (front and center at the end of my bed) and said "you see that?? that's your baby's head!" They got me all set up and after only 6 minutes of pushing, my beautiful baby boy arrived. I'm counting my blessings for the wonderful outcome and for the happy, healthy baby I've been too busy staring at the last week to post his birth announcement on here sooner
Congrats to all of you ladies on the birth of your little ones thus far! And good luck to those of you with not so impatient bodies and babies!
Edited: We were team green and I couldn't have asked for a more awesome surprise! :x

Hubby & I arrived at L&D at 1:30pm. Irregular contractions and I SWORE I was getting or had a kidney infection. I was still dilated to 1cm. Then...
9:25pm-9:30pm That "OH CRAP" moment right before it's time to push, you realize that not only has your epidural completely worn off, but it had worn off only because the hose between the bag and the IV epidural site came undone at some point. Then when begging for something, anything, you find out that it's too late and time to PUSH! All in a matter of a few short minutes! Fantastic! My first, last, and ONLY delivery without any sort or pain meds. Oh yeah... All natural. I will never understand why people prefer THAT. It most certainly was NOT a party!
This boy is healthy and amazing! He looks just like daddy. Everything like daddy... gas, frequent poops, and a hearty appetite!
Congratulations to the rest of you ladies!!! We did it!!!!
Elliott William EDD: 4th November Induction started: 26th October Arrived at 3.24 am on 28th October weighing 5lbs 9oz, 19.25 inches long.
I had a propess pessary inserted at 1pm on Monday, they checked me at 4.30pm on Tuesday and I was 1 finger dilated. Dr did a sweep and inserted another pessary and said to wait 24 hours.
I had period like cramping for about 3 hours then at 11pm they put me on the monitor and I was having very mild regular contractions about 10 minutes apart.
At 1am I couldn't lay down any more so sat on a ball. At 2am I phoned my mum and told her to come. At 2.30 the contractions were hard and about 3 minutes apart.
At 3am I felt a lot of pressure, there was no break in contractions and I was mooing like a cow. The midwife checked me and I was 7cm. They took me from the ward to the delivery room. 20 minutes later and 5 minutes of pushing Elliott was born.
No pain meds, no tearing, no swearing. Hypnobirthing works!

We went from team green to team blue!!! Meet Beckham Isaiah born October 26th at 9:18am, 8lbs 4oz, 20.5in!!! We are over the moon in love with our third little blessing!
Our little girl was born 10/27 (at a disputable 37w3d) they are trying to tell me she's only 35wks. She weighs over 6.5lbs but I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone yet. LISTEN to your BODY! I went in for a routine apt yesterday morning and asked to have a cervical check because I just felt like baby was coming, she said I was only 1cm & 50% effaced. I got home and went from discomfort to all fours on the floor with my 2yr old rubbing my back within 2hrs. Called DH and said I need to go to the hospital NOW. I was admitted at 4cm and quickly progressed to 7cm. I asked what the plan was if she was facing the wrong way because I felt like her back was in a different place than normal, I was told she'd turn her face. She didn't and was born sunny side up. She ended up grunting right after they got her on my chest and she had to be transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with supportive NICU. I sent DH and DS home to sleep, what a lonely night night it was!!! Hoping to go see her ASAP. Sitting here pumping, pretty sure I've only gotten about 5 drops of colostrum
Juliana Grace EDD: 11/10 Born 10/21 6 lbs even 19 inches
I always guessed she'd be an October baby, since dd1 was born at 37 weeks. Juliana came at 37+2. I'd had painful contractions for 4 straight weeks and had been hospitalized overnight at 33 weeks when they got extremely regular.
Luckily, she held on in there until she was officially considered full term. I was at work (teaching kindergarten) when my water broke. I felt a pop and suddenly felt like I'd wet my pants! Luckily my students noticed nothing.
Called my dr, who told me to go home, have a meal and pick up my stuff before heading to the hospital. Dh came home and we picked up dd from school.
When I got to the hospital, I was 4cm and the contractions had really picked up. I got my epidural and just a few minutes later the dr checked and said I was at 9 1/2. Before I knew it, it was time to push. Except with every push/contraction, her heatbeat dropped. Before we knew what was happening, the room filled with other people and my dr was asking for suction.
3 pushes later, with the help of suction, and with her cord wrapped around her neck, Juliana was born. Luckily she was fine and the NICU dr who was there wasn't even needed.
I went into labor 2 days before a scheduled section for a closing PDA. Oliver entered the world 2 hours before my parents plane landed so he was ready to meet his grandparents.
Lillian Kate EDD 11/5/15 Birthday 10/23/15 Born at 4:03 p.m. 5 lbs 11 oz 18 1/2 inches long
Water broke at 11:24 pm on 10/22. 3 cm dilated and had slow contractions at first. Doctor started low dose of pitocin from 1 am to 6 am. No progression in dilation when they checked me at 6 am so they upped the pitocin every 30 min. Checked again at 9 am made it to 4 cm. They continued to up pitocin every 30 min. Checked me again at 1 pm and I made it to 9 cm. Started pushing at 2:00 and had her at 4:03.
Brooklyn Sadie EDD 11/3 Born 10/28 6lb10oz 20.5 inches long
Induced at 39 weeks due to hypertension. Our sweet girl was born 24 hours after induction started. Was able to go as pain med free as possible and only bad 2 small doses of iv pain meds and no epidural.
Also, she is absolutely a breast feeding champ already! Her daddy and I are so in love with her.
My water broke at home and we got admitted to the hospital- I was 2cm dilated but was started on pitocin because I wasn't really contracting. I got the epidural at 4cm and I went from 5 to 10 centimeters in only an hour and a half!!! I didn't feel a thing and only pushed 4 times !!
Aria Grace and Elijah David were born on October 23rd! Aria was born at 11:58am weighing 5lbs 1oz, 16.5inches long and Elijah was born at 12:01pm weighing 5lbs 13oz, 19inches long. Born via C-section at 37 weeks. Their big brother and big sister are excited that we are finally home
Roman Wyatt Due 11/17 Scheduled C 11/10 Born 10/28 (the day after my birthday) 37+1 After a long week and some days of being in and out of the hospital due to blood pressure problems we ended back in the hospital on my birthday with a huge spike in urine protein in less than 10 hours and major signs of preeclampsia. We were monitored over night and had our c section the next morning. He's doing amazing and is such a calm baby. Mommy, sister, and big brothers are very much in love.
There were no medical reasons or complications to indicate that she would come early. I was at work on 10/28 when my water broke around 10:45. I called my ob's office and then went straight to the ER. I was 1cm and 100% effaced. I had unpredictable contractions and was told if I wasn't 4cm by 4:00 am, they would start Pitocin. They gave me IV pain meds around 12:45 am which helped me sleep between contractions, they checked me at 4:00 am and I was at 4cm, I got my epidural at 5:30 am and was able to sleep for about four hours. My cervix kept progressing on its own and I got to 10cm. They put me on Pitocin to make the contractions stronger, I pushed for about 45 minutes and by the time she was ready, my epidural wore off. My ob shot me full of local in three different places, and two pushes later, at 12:43 pm, she was here. She's doing really well for being so early. She is 19 inches and weighs 5 lbs. 6.5 oz. My husband and I love her so much.
Julian Michael EDD: 11/20 Born: 10/28 Weight: 6.099 lb
Our little angel was born via emergency c-section, which was accompanied by an appendectomy. My appendix was inflamed and was causing me so much pain that I couldn't even move my legs. It was a horrible experience, but it was so worth it for him.
FTM and I woke up feeling a little crampy but I assumed it was because the day before my DR had checked my cervix. I ended up going into work and contractions started. They weren't super painful but started to be consistent between 4-5 minutes apart. My hospital is 40 minutes from work so I got there by 11:30 and I was 6 cm dilated and contracts were 3 minutes apart. They quickly got stronger and closer together. I had full intention on getting an epideral but Norah was in such a rush by 2:50 I was fully dilated and starting to push and by 3:01 she graced us with her arrival.
I wouldn't change a thing (except maybe having time for the epideral) my husband and I feel so blessed we have a healthy baby girl and so far enjoying every moment of it. :-)
Went from "I feel sort of weird" to 10cm and 100% effaced in 2 hrs. Progressed so fast it put our little sweetheart in distress and had to be given something to slow things down. Then pushed with little progress for 3 hrs only to be rushed to c-section bc her heart rate kept declining. Craziest thing because I could feel so much, threw up the whole time, but was all worth it when I heard her sweet cry. Now I'm wide awake as everyone sleeps bc I just can't stop snuggling her. :-). Life is beautiful!
Alina Leighton Born 10/29 6lb 12oz, 19in EDD 11/12 Was scheduled for a csection next Thursday but woke up yesterday morning with contractions 4-5 min apart. Got to the hospital around 7:30am and was 4cm and in active labor. Baby girl was born via csection by 9:30am! It all went very fast and she is so tiny compared to her brother who was almost 9lbs.
I had a scheduled c-section right at 39 weeks. Everything is going as smoothly as possible and we are both home now. Praise The Lord for a healthy happy baby!! Let the adventures begin.
Went into my doctors office for an appointment on the 28th and blood pressure was too high so they sent me for induction. Induction started at 2pm on 10/28 and at 7:39 am on 10/29 little Addie came into the world! She is amazing!!
Rhys Joseph Roland (2 middle names) EDD 11/7 Born Oct 29th 9lbs 7oz 21 inches
Went for my 38 week appointment knowing we would be discussing induction since I had GD. My BP was up so off to the hospital to get things checked out. Was going to have to stay overnight and start an induction in the morning but my BP came down so I was given some gel and went home for the night. My induction started at 8am with them breaking my waters. Laboured for 10 hours then got an epi hoping I would progress but I stayed stalled at 4cm the whole time. My OB came in and we discussed our options. We decided to pick it up in the wee hours and give it another go and if all else failed we would have a c-section. All meds were shut down and I got some rest. Started the pictocin around 6am and after a bit the started the epi back up. New OB came in and said I was still 4 but he could easily stretch it to 6 but baby's head wasn't coming down so I got in a more gravity friendly position. Laboured for a while with the epi only working on one side and eventually got a top off so it would work on both. Next thing I know I'm feeling a ton of pressure and I'm ready to push. Got everything ready, pushed for a little over 15 minutes and baby was born at 11:37am. I felt EVERYTHING, even the nice tear up to my urethrea (again). It was a whirlwind of a labour but I got through it! Good luck to all my fellow November mammas out there!
Carolyn Beth Born 10/30 EDD 11/25 5lbs 8.6 oz 18 inches
I had a scheduled c section due to placenta previa. Carolyn was having some trouble breathing so she went straight to the nicu. I just called the nicu and they said she is doing much better. She is off the oxygen and moved to a crib now. I can try to nurse later today Carolyn is named after my sister who passed away 11 years ago and was born on my sister's birthday, which just happened to be in the timeframe my obgyn wanted to deliver in.
Team green to team blue!! Name: Rhys Bennett Edd 11/1 Born 10/30
I started having contractions at about 12:30 am. Since I've been having so many consistent contractions that then taper off after about 2 hours, I just tried to sleep between them. By 3:30 they were getting more intense so I went to try and walk to make sure they didn't stop. My husband got up at 4 and we were leaving by 4:30. When we got to the hospital I was at 7 cm. I asked for the epidural but by the time they could get the lab work and get the anesthesiologist there, it was too late. 1.5 hours of pushing bc he was sunny side up. Really intense but I feel better today than I did with both of my medicated births. Rhys is doing great and we are hoping to make it home today to see my other 2 go trick or treating.

Best day of my life!

Delivery: 10/28 at 4:29pm
My water broke at home and we got admitted to the hospital- I was 2cm dilated but was started on pitocin because I wasn't really contracting. I got the epidural at 4cm and I went from 5 to 10 centimeters in only an hour and a half!!! I didn't feel a thing and only pushed 4 times !!

After a long week and some days of being in and out of the hospital due to blood pressure problems we ended back in the hospital on my birthday with a huge spike in urine protein in less than 10 hours and major signs of preeclampsia.

Was scheduled for a csection next Thursday but woke up yesterday morning with contractions 4-5 min apart. Got to the hospital around 7:30am and was 4cm and in active labor. Baby girl was born via csection by 9:30am! It all went very fast and she is so tiny compared to her brother who was almost 9lbs.

I had a scheduled c section due to placenta previa. Carolyn was having some trouble breathing so she went straight to the nicu. I just called the nicu and they said she is doing much better. She is off the oxygen and moved to a crib now. I can try to nurse later today
Carolyn is named after my sister who passed away 11 years ago and was born on my sister's birthday, which just happened to be in the timeframe my obgyn wanted to deliver in.
