Was I supposed to do an intro??

I did an intro on the intro thread but didn't do an "official" introduction.  Now I've jumped right into the discussions and I'm wondering if others are thinking "Where did she come from??"  So, here's my intro.  I'm 40 (Ugh! Still not used to that!!)  My DH is 37 and we have a 14 month old son.  I was a regular lurker on the July 2014 BMB but never posted anything.  And then it blew up with this crazy Catfish incident, which made my maternity leave much more interesting!!  Recently I've been active on the TTC board where I started posting for the first time.  Since we're old, this will be our last baby, so I'm so excited to get the most out of this pregnancy!  I look forward to getting to know you ladies!

    It was crazy!  There was a regular poster, she literally posted ALL THE TIME!  Always started threads from the very beginning!  In like August or September, some of the ladies figured it out and called her on it.  She eventually admitted to everything. The whole board fell apart after that!  I know the thread where they confronted her is still around.  I'll see if I can find it and post it.

    I tried adding the link but I don't know what I'm doing!  it's the "Newb in Town" Thread on page 12 or 15 of the July 2014 BMB.  It all came to head when she tried to add her "partner" to the group.  Crazy!!

    It was nuts!  She had so much detail in everything! Her birth plan, her relationship, she even copied pictures of some poor woman and these super clever woman were able to find the woman who's pictures she was using.  Neve and Max would have been proud.  I guess all you have to do is search "Newb in Town" on the July 2014 BMB.

    Holy shitballs!! I would've been livid if I was in that group. What a lunatic, impressed by the girls that figured it out! I'm way too trusting, and will now think 2ce before posting any personal info/pics! Go away all catfishers X(

    It's crazy, because you just never know!  Its sad because she posted so much with so much detail, she probably didn't have anything else in her life but this whole made up world!  Crazy!

    I just read the 'name opinion' thread, cracking up jacey! Im responding on all ur threads, feel like a stalker! My sons name is Wyatt coel (pronounced cole but spelled different using each of our mothers initials). And I love Dylan for a girl, actually love boys names for girls, obsessed with Tyler, but my husband thinks it's a strippers name, plus it's the girls name in 'point break', which doesn't help my case:)

    I love Tyler!  There is something about a traditional boys name for a girl that I love!  My DH would go nuts over the name Wyatt Coel!  I love it!  Figuring out names is one of the hardest parts!!  There so much responsiblitiy!!

    WOW. I too just lost an hour of my existence to the Catfish thread... and only made it to page 11.

    Thank you for bringing that madness into our lives, and ALL of the warnings that come with it.  Sufficiently freaked out!

    A mom friend of mine on another board lost her baby to potters syndrome. She had pictures taken of them and him, someone stole the pictures and used them saying it was her child! Could you imagine?!

    Yeah. It was awful!!! We had all seen her pictures because she gave birth to him early and it was a scheduled induction. It was so terrible! I remember just praying that day that the doctors were wrong or there would be some miracle. She has a blog and had put the pics up on there and other places where she was raising awareness. One of her follows contacted her saying she was on another page and came across a blogger who had lost her child as well, she saw the picture and knew immediately it was her son and not this other persons. My jaw hit the floor when she told us all about it!

    It took me all day with all the interruptions but OMG that catfish post was insane!!!! I was really hoping Ana would come back and say something though :(

    Welcome! I didn't do an intro here either, just on July (as I'm floating between the two with an EDD of July 1) :) Aaaand I'll be reading that catfish thread too!
