Anyone taking progesterone suppositories???

This is going to be way too much TMI, but please bare with me! Lol! I've been taking Crinone 8% progesterone suppositories for the past week. Every time I wipe I notice a little bit of 'yeast infection' looking discharge. I feel like it has to be the reminisce of the progesterone because it only starting happening when I used it. Like I said, it looks very 'yeasty' and I think if it were a true yeast infection, I would be coming out of my skin with discomfort (considering the amount). Just hopeful, one, or more, of you are are experiencing something similar and could relate. I see my doctor on Thursday and will absolutely mention it! TIA!

  • I am currently taking the suppositories for this pregnancy and I always have to wear a pantyliner.

  • Sorry for the weird double post!
  • I started then about two weeks ago and have the same nastiness going on you do!

  • On a similar thing, having the same result. Its super gross. >.<
  • Yes, and they're super gross. But if it helps, bring on the gross lady bits.

  • Yup me too, two capsules 3 times a day. Not the funest that's for sure.
  • Thanks ladies! I figured as much, but it's very reassuring that y'all are in the same boat as me! Yucky, I know, but if it helps keep this baby in there, I'm not gonna complain!
  • I'm using the suppositories, too. Super gross but sounds a heck of a lot better than the dreaded PIO injections I've seen others post about!

  • I just started taking then myself. Yup my panties look like a bakery too. But I'd rather deal with that than the blood I had in them before I started them!

I just started last Friday. I am on a big dose 2x a day. I just started noticing a bit of weirdness beyond the chalky stuff so I plan on drinking kefir just in case a yeast infection is starting. I'm not feeling discomfort, but the live cultures in kefir have helped me before! Maybe it will keep an infection at bay. I can't imagine pairing these nasty things with other ovules! Yuck.

  • Lurking from May 16... I've been on crinone since my ivf in August-- the discharge is totally normal, my doctor said if it's bothersome to "clean it out" with your finger in the shower. I have a week left on the crinone, I will be SOOOO happy to never use it again! Lol
  • I take my at night. At first I thought I was peeing the bed during the night, because I woke up soaking wet. Then I realized it was the suppositories.
