Last pregnancy, I wanted pickled ginger (or sushi ginger) all. the. time. This time around, the thought of food at all makes me sick. I'm excited for when the MS passes enough to have cravings!
This time around - I am craving nothing. I just have had aversions. My first pregnancy, this was me and bacon. I didn't like bacon, but for about 4 weeks I wanted it all day every day. Then I went back to disliking bacon.
Since being pregnant I have wanted nothing to do with sweets which was sad for me. Tonight out of nowhere I wanted cookies and cream ice cream...so I had it lol. Also buffalo chicken dip I've eaten it almost everyday!
I've been mainly craving cheese. Cheese bagels with jalapeño cream cheese, crackers with that fake cheese in the middle, ham and cheese melts, straight up cheese. Now... Meh. Meh to all the things.
Tonight I saw a picture of a pickle. Suddenly, I wanted pickles so bad, as if there was no other food in the world. So I ate about half a jar of pickles, then joked with DH that I was going to drink the pickle juice. It seriously sounded so delicious!!! Now I'm wishing there were more pickles in the house, so I'm adding them to my grocery list for tomorrow. Ha
I haven't had specific cravings yet, I've just been very very susceptible to food suggestions. I see, read, or hear of different foods and one randomly stands out and all of a sudden I want that and I want it NOW and I can't stop obsessing about it until I have it.
