2am internal alarm clock?

Hello all!
Just wondering- is anyone else waking up around 2am and not able to go back to sleep? Wondering if this is stress or symptom!
Thanks for everyone's help.

Re: 2am internal alarm clock?

  • I have been sleeping much worse as well. I seem to get restless between 2 and 3. I am normally a great sleeper (i really love sleeping). I would guess for myself that it is stress and wanting to think about everything!

  • I'm getting restless around that time as well, but I think it just has to do with discomfort and stress. I keep getting headaches at night (hormonal) and then I wake up and immediately start thinking!

  • I think it's normal. Right now I'm sleeping well unless DD wakes up, which is at least 3-4 nights a week.

When I was pregnant with DD I was up 2-3 times a night. By the last 2 months, I slept in our bed for about 4 hours. Then I'd move to couch and watch Netflix half asleep until 5am. It didn't help that I had to sleep sitting up because of acid reflux.
  • same as @knitmama... I'm sleeping ok now unless my DS wakes up, then I can't go to sleep.
And my last month of last pregnancy I was up a ton mostly due to acid reflux (it's the worst!!!) and frequent pee breaks.  I swear my 4th meal of the day was Tums.

  • I'm waking up at 4 or 5 and then moving to the couch to read because I can't fall back asleep.  With me, I'm sure it's anxiety, and I'm making it worse for myself.  Whenever I wake up in the early morning, I take a pregnancy test and then worry about whether the line is getting darker.
