  Me too. One of the best decisions I've ever made. It's so nice not to have to worry about birth control ever again!

  I had mine done after this baby. It was a quick surgery but the pain for the first night was awful. But it got better quickly.

  Wish me luck tomorrow I go for my tubal ligation ....now does anyone know if your periods get heavier??... and when a good time to get a Dr release to go back to work.

  My friend did a blockage (I forget the official name) and she couldn't be happier. Her recovery was quick and she said except for period-like cramps for a day or so it didn't hurt at all

  My dr said they don't get heavier per se, but not being on hormonal bc can make them seem heavier, since a lot of bc makes them lighter/non existent. So heavier than if you were on the pill, but not extreme (in most cases anyway). Idk about a release, I'm planning to go back the next day unless I hear otherwise.
