    4. CD23, possible 8dpo.  Temps all over the place - did have a high temp this morning but I don't think I'm ovulating this late cause it's never happened before.

    5. I'm not hopeful because of my low temps the last few days.  The high one today has me a bit confused.  I'm also kind of curious because on the CT Scan I had to have in ER on Wed said I had a few prominent follicles on the right side.  WTF?  I also have a constant cramp there.

YEAH!  Halloween!  I am going as WonderWoman, DH as Batman and DD as Cinderella!  Not very original, but I'm excited nonetheless.  We went to the pumpkin patch today and have 2 pretty carved pumpkins on the porch and seeds in the oven now!

    3. Working with RE, using Femara, Gonal-F and Trigger, will being doing second IUI on 30th.

    4.Waiting to O

    5. Staying positive and very hopeful, will be last chance to IUI for a while due to $$$, insurance doesn't cover anything.

    6. Going to parties Friday and Saturday. Might do different things each night. Friday DH is going to dress up like a hunter and I will be a deer.  It's very funny because if you know us, its not like us at all. Clueless for Saturday, but it's more a classy event so wanting to upscale the costumes a bit.

    TTC #1, cycle #7

Medicated IUI (frozen donor sperm) with RE, and acupuncture with TCM herbs

IUI scheduled for tomorrow, because my bloodwork showed LH surge this morning.  Trigger shot at noon, and IUI is at 9:30am, so I'm worried I won't O before the frozen sperm becomes ineffective tomorrow evening.  This is my *last* IUI before moving on to IVF.  Also, only one follicle this cycle.

Trying to be patient.  I'd like to be hopeful, but I'm really starting to think that IVF is in my future.

Hoping to go for 80s punk zombie, if I can get it together!  I have a vampire costume I can fall back on, though.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

TTC #2 for 10 cycles or so

Prenatals and opks. Adding pre-seed to the mix this time.

Waiting to O. CD 10 and still no flashy. I'd been getting them on CD 9 the last two months, but this feels more normal for the way my cycles used to be. This is making me feel hopeful.

So, yeah. Feeling cautiously hopeful. DH and I have been having some conflict but with good resolution and a deeper appreciation for one another, so that is hopeful too. I feel like being in a good place with each other can only help. I am also almost convinced to fully wean LO and I feel like my body knows this. And, as much as I felt skeptical about th chiropractor, I feel like that may actually have made me feel better. Who knows. Bottom line: I feel pretty good.

Not a Halloween person, but I do mean to dig out LO's costume from last year so he can be dressed up when we hand out candy.

ETA: Hope your mini-vacation was fun @dolphin012 ! And, good luck @KLake42

TTC #2 since  2/15, MC in July

PNV, acupuncture, chinese herbs, supplements, maya abdominal massage, OTC progesterone, etc.

10 dpo and I've known for a few days now that this cycle is another bust. I started spotting 7dpo which is frustrating b/c despite everything I've been doing to try to increase my progesterone and lengthen my luteal phase, it seems to just be getting shorter. Looks like AF will likely show her ugly face tomorrow. All in all, though, I'm feeling much better about TTC. I've tried to focus on other things and am taking a less obsessive, more relaxed "if it happens, it happens" approach which has been good for the mental health. I was planning to take November off bc my partner and I are going to conferences during what was supposed to be my FW, but since my cycles have been getting shorter, looks like we'll probably be able to squeeze in some BD'ing after all.

DS has a hand-me-down shark costume from his cousin, so I'm thinking I'll go as a surfer/shark attack victim and if I can convince DP (who has in the 14 years I've been with him been categorically opposed to dressing up for Halloween (lame)) maybe he'll dress up as a lifeguard.

TTC #2 for 17 months with one chemical pregnancy

PNV, Myo-inositol, CoQ10, all the vitamins, acupuncture, MAM, no fertility meds currently.  I'm also still on my diet trying to lose the last 9 pounds to qualify for IVF.  It's not going great, but my hubby and I started working out yesterday (sore today!) so I'm hoping that will jumpstart me again so we can start stims for IVF at the end of November.

CD24, didn't ovulate by CD20, so I had to start Provera to get on schedule to get my period and start BCP at the beginning of November for IVF#1.  So, no chance for us this month.

I'm feeling disappointed that we missed O last month and then didn't have this month to try.  But, I'm also getting excited to start IVF and hopeful that it will work for us.  My NPs at the RE's office all really feel like I'll respond well (high AMH and AFC of 30+ at my last US) - thank you PCOS, the only positive from it - so I'm choosing to look ahead at this point and try to stop hating my body!  I'm also willing my little eggs to be mature and high quality.

I'm not dressing up.  I used to dress up all the time, but it seems like a lot of work right now! :)  Maybe when all this infertility business is over, I can get back into some of those fun things.  My daughter is going to be a pink poodle.  She's 2, so we'll go to a few neighbors' houses and then come home and hand out candy.

    ttc #1 for a while

Preparing for FET. I stopped OCPs this past week and am just on the leuprolide right now. Baseline appt is tomorrow. Looking forward to starting the patches and getting some estrogen back in my system! Transfer timing is mid-November.

Still a few weeks off until the transfer. I think about it, but have been focusing more on vacation and other things going on. We are feeling quite hopeful, but at the same time have been discussing what the other options might be if this final transfer doesn't work. It helps not put as much pressure on it - it will be our last ivf step, but good to know it doesn't have to be the end of our journey.

We are going to a neighborhood party. Not sure if i will dress up. I will have to come up with something clever, I don't have any old costumes left over. Although i think Halloween is fun, for me its probably not worth a special trip to town for a costume. So we will see. @emsmama15 - i can relate, i think all the time put into ttc appointments, shots, etc has made me less motivated for other things.

    @KLake42 -- good-luck tomorrow!!!

    TTC #1 for 10 months, MMC/D&E + chemical pregnancy

    Charting/temping

AF should be showing up any day now. I started spotting today.

Based on my temps and some symptoms (lower than usual temps, brown spotting days before AF, shorter luteal phase, more CM than usual in luteal phase), it appears my progesterone has been low in the two cycles following my chemical pregnancy.  The two cycles after my d&e were wonky (long, with erratic temps), so if I'm still screwed up next cycle, I'll call the doctor.  For now, I am hoping that it just takes me two cycles to recover from losses.  I'm a bit worried, though, because it's messed up in a different way this time, plus my chemical was only a day after AF was due.  I can't imagine why it would have such an effect.

QOTW: Our house is off of a private little side street, so we also just turn off the lights and watch tv.  I'd make an effort if we were more accessible.

@KLake42, I hope it went well!  You have sperm inside you!!!!!

5- trying not to get too hopeful. Im down to my last couple months of trying so each month I get more stressed.

    3. OPKs, temping, prenatals, evening primrose oil, CoQ10, probiotics, Vit D, fish oil, Myo-inositol, D-Chiro-Inositol, cayenne, flaxseed oil, Vitex & licorice (CD3-9). Cabergoline to bring down my prolactin levels. Also some nasty herbal concoction twice a day from the acupuncturist. Still going strong with the no carb/no sweets diet (apart from the occasional cheating here and there).

    4. CD 29. Anovulatory cycle :((

    5. This was my last natural cycle before going down the medicated route and I simply didn't ovulate (silly ovaries). No +OPK, no peak temps, very little EWCM. @CarrieandRoy, I get that you want to do one more cycle, but I'm just going to urge you not to waste anymore time than that.  And don't bother doing anything with your OB/GYN.  Just ask for a referral to a RE.  Trying for 10 months with two losses is definitely a reason to just go to the RE and get testing done and a plan of action.  Just my two cents.  Feel free to tell me to lay off!!!

    3. Prenatals, OPKs, CoQ10, Vitamin B. OBGYN will refer us to an RE if we don't have a successful pregnancy before January. Technically, we should/could go anytime now since I'm 35 and have been TTC for 12 months, but I'm not confident about our timing and would like to have my ducks in a row with charts and what not before we spend the time, $, and emotional energy going down the RE road. Thinking I need to start temping, but it activates my OCD and I feel like it could be a rabbit hole for me.

    4. TWW, pretty sure. Got lazy with the OPKs this month. No testing plans until day AF is due. I mean it this time. :)

    5. Not very confident. We've had a lot going on outside of TTC and haven't had a lot of well-timed sex this month. Our dog had sudden and completely random heart failure, at only 8 years old and healthy, so he got a pacemaker. Pacemaker surgery is no joke, and pacemaker surgery aftercare is no joke, either. My days and nights have been consumed with sneaking pills into various meats and cheeses; watching every move he makes (no jumping, no running, no playing, no being a dog, basically); and feeling guilty when he inevitably does one of those forbidden things. Oh, and staples and bandages and incision care. Sexy, I know. ;)

    6. I just want to sleep and not be bothered... I'm like the Scrooge of Halloween. We actually contemplated a dog-friendly local hotel where we can hide and not feel guilty for being anti-social in our kid-overflowing neighborhood.
