I'm having my first u/s tomorrow and going by my LMP I should be 5w6d tomorrow. Has anyone seen or heard the heartbeat that early? Since my last MC I'm so nervous about what we will see.
I haven't had one at 5 weeks before, but I think that sounds pretty early. I think that's the point where you may or may not see a HB, so try not to stress either way! I've had a MC as well so I specifically am waiting until 8 weeks for my US because I should definitely see something at that point. FX for both of us!
I had my first u/s at 6 weeks last pregnancy but it showed 5 weeks and 6 days on the measurements and there was just the sac. No HB that time. It is only normal you would be apprehensive after a previous MC but not seeing a HB tomorrow will be pretty normal. Wishing you loads of good luck.
I'm 6w2d and had an ultrasound today and saw the heartbeat. My doctor said it starts right around the 6 weeks mark give or take a few days. (Depends when you ovulated) She mentioned mine may have even started just yesterday so she was happy it had started so I didn't freak out.
I had my first u/s at 5w5d. Just saw the sac as well. However, they didn't do a transvaginal, and maybe that would have shown more. I have 2nd u/s next Monday.
I had an u/s at 6 weeks exactly and there was a heartbeat but it was low at 90, which worried me more than if I just never had the u/s. That being said I had one at 5+3 and they didn't even see a sac, just a thickened endometrium. Don't worry too much, early ultrasounds suck and things change so much every day (look at my case, went from not even a sac to a hb in 4 days).
FYI they were following me closely because they thought I was having an ectopic
I had my first ultrasound at 5w6d as well. They were able to find a heartbeat that early. They checked it a couple times and it fluctuated a little, but it was definitely there. At 9w now.
