My nipples!!!

Well more like areolas. my Montgomery glands are hurting, most of them peeling. I have dark brown areolas and now have pink nick marks where my skin has come off.. Is this normal? My boobs hurt, they sting. I am putting nipple cream on like crazy, but it's been like this for almost 3 days. Any relief remedies? I'm braless right now b/c I can feel the irritation when the bra rubs. I'm terrified it may turn to blisters (I have hsv, but have never had my breasts affected).

    Yes I have organic cotton ones & disposal ones (these work better) but right now it feels best to have nothing on.

    You may try some nipple covers (not shields for bfing) these sit over your nips when you have a bra or shirt on as a barrier so nothing touches them. I know medela sells them.

    Mine get super sensitive and sting from time to time, too, but it's not unbearable and baby has a good latch. I give myself a break and pump if I'm so sensitive I can't even put a shirt or bra on. Skipping one nursing session and pumping instead usually helps a lot for me.
