Never do again... Cheat on my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time. I was still in high school when this happened but I still have a lot of regret)
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? Dirt since I live in the desert, my dogs, toys, white walls and floors, and my husband's giant computer.
What is one thing you will never do again? Live in the desert, lol.
Would you rather hike or bike? Hike!!

What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? Didn't read the question apparently the first time so re-doing it: our sun room, toys on the floor, the carpet lol people like that its plushy, our wall/collage of wedding photos and photos of DS, and our dogs probably!
What is one thing you will never do again? Smoke cigarettes! I quit April 30th since I knew we wanted another baby and now, I can't stand the smell of it. Of course, I'm thankful that I will be around longer but it's also very nice not to waste so much $$ on such a disgusting habit!
Would you rather hike or bike? Ummm, if I have to choose - I guess bike? I'm not much into working out lol although I definitely plan to do better once this babe comes! Thinking of signing up for a local spinning class.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
Probably my cat (1) sleeping on my husband's shoes which he takes off and dumps by the front door when he comes in (2), an excessive amount of video game consoles and games (3), our dark hardwood floors (4), and a big old pile of baby books I haven't cracked that my friend gave me two months ago (5).
What is one thing you will never do again?
Eat meat. I've been a vegetarian most of my life and I don't really see that changing. Never really developed a taste for it.
Would you rather hike or bike?
Bike. I used to bike everywhere before I got pregnant, to the grocery store, friends' houses, bars and restaurants. But I'm terribly uncoordinated so I had to give it up temporarily till I'm not pregnant anymore. Plus I'm afraid of getting doored.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
The mess (unfortunately), the piano (beautiful, but SO and I don't know how to play it), how dated everything is (bought his grandma's house, so we inherited mauve walls and old lady furnishings; too much to do to do it all), the destroyed cat tree, and SOs collection of technology.
What is one thing you will never do again?
I don't honestly know. Time dulls the memory of fear/pain/stupidity so I would probably do just about anything again.
Would you rather hike or bike?
I enjoy both. Though probably hike because the possibilities are endless on foot. Hiked 28 miles on the Appalachian Trail at 8 weeks pregnant (before I figured it out).
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
The big pile of shoes under our entry table. I try to keep it nice and neat, but with two rambunctious dogs and a husband that loves to throw this soccer bag down there, it's a mess.
Our over crowded coat rack - because we're too lazy to hang things up in the coat closet
How bare our walls are
How badly I need to wash our walls
Into the rest of the downstairs thanks to the open concept layout
What is one thing you will never do again?
um...Probably not be so reckless when it comes to social situations. I've definitely put myself in some unsafe situations that at the time I had the "Oh, nothing will ever happen to me." mentality where when I think back, I cringe.
Would you rather hike or bike?
Depends on if there's an incline or not. If it's all incline, I'd rather walk. If it's a leisurely trail, I'd be all about biking it
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
-The fact that you tried to ring the doorbell but realized that it's actually not hooked up, so likely we didn't even come to open the door until the dogs saw you and started barking (this is something that needs to be done but it's not on my list because I actually hate doorbells--we need to just take it down, though, so people aren't standing there pressing the button and no one is coming).
-Dog #1, the old one, who would be obnoxiously (loudly) barking at you to try to get you to pet him
-Dog #2, the baby, who would be going crazy running and trying to jump on you (we are working on this) because HE LOVES YOU
-The fact that our entryway and first few rooms have absolutely no furniture right now. We have an interior designer working on some plans and we've been clearing everything out in the interim so we are ready for new stuff when we finally get it. The no furniture look is not a good one and it's driving me CRAZY.
-It's a pretty open floorplan, so I guess just everything else after that! open staircase, kitchen, dining room...all there on display. haha
What is one thing you will never do again?
Ha! So many things. I'm going to piggyback off @brushesnbrunch...there are a lot of things socially and a lot of probably unsafe situations that I wouldn't want to do again. Like...ride the NYC subway by myself late at night.
Would you rather hike or bike?
Probably hike. I'm not very good at biking so I'm not very confident which doesn't make it so much fun.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
Dog hair tumbleweeds (she should be bald)
That we're too lazy to put our shoes away
That I like to collect things (one display case is in our entry way)
I love Louisiana (two different fleur-de-lis art pieces in entry way)
We live in our house - it's cluttered but not dirty (with the exception of those tumbleweeds)
What is one thing you will never do again? Work for a boss who constantly (and publicly) demeans his/her employees. I'd rather be unemployed for a time than put up with that abuse again.
Would you rather hike or bike? Hike - I always feel out of control on a bike and I'm not a fan of being out of control.
Feb16 October Siggy Challenge- Favorite Halloween Candy
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? 1. Toys 2. Cats 3. Huge entertainment center and tv 4. Pictures of family 5. Old Avon bottles
What is one thing you will never do again? Get stupid drunk. Those were the worst days ever.
Would you rather hike or bike? Honestly, I'd rather swim, but since that's not an option, hike.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
My toddler, a slide, one of my cats because he is ridiculous and loves people, my couch(it's the divider basically between the entrance area and living room, and then Toys.
What is one thing you will never do again? Live in Illinois! Hated it.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? First my dog. She will be so excited to see you no matter what. Basket of shoes. Antique furnishings I've collected in my living room. Wood stove. Probably toys.
What is one thing you will never do again? Well seeing as college is long behind me and I'm a grown up now, I can safely say I'll never go to another frat party. Thank God lol.
Would you rather hike or bike Growing up in the blue ridge, I'd hike any day. Love it!
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
we use our back door that leads into our kitchen so that's why my answer is a little strange...
*the cat will meet you at the door, and once you open the door you will hear a large THUMP from above which is our dog jumping off our bed to come downstairs.
*our little liquor cabinet
*a ton of shoes
*the water bowl
*by now the dog has probably come downstairs
What is one thing you will never do again?
*touch a pregnant person's belly without getting permission first.
1. 2 big dogs flying at them, a huge shipping box of diapers I scored for super cheap that I haven't unpacked yet, an entertainment center/tv in the middle of the living room instead of the tv over the fireplace like it's supposed to be (thank you DH for slacking), DH's socks and shoes from yesterday (WHY do the socks have to come off too??), and a collection of glasses/mugs on the coffee table from the myriad of drinks I consume during the day 2. Lie to my husband, which I did when we were first dating and getting out of another relationship. He knows about it all now, but I hate how complicated I made things for a while and how deceitful I was. 3. I'd opt out of both!
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
The smell... always smells like cookies or something baking! Half the time it's because I am baking and the other half is from my scentsy that is almost always on
My dog, she is super protective and no one would be able to miss her barking
The organization. I like to keep things super tidy and mess freaks me out. Having a toddler makes this really hard sometimes, but I still can't just let things be
My lemon tree. Its staked out in my entry way for now since it's starting to get cooler outside.
What is one thing you will never do again? Go on vacation with my mother. I love her to death, but there is such a thing as too much quality time.
Would you rather hike or bike? Hike! I love being able to wander off the trail if something cool catches my eye. Makes it easier to explore new places when you are on foot!
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? My dog greeting them Living room Toys My dirty carpet I need to replace Big windows to backyard and blueberry field
What is one thing you will never do again? Put white carpet in my livingroom White+dog+toddler+farmer hubby=DIRT DIRT DIRT
Would you rather hike or bike? Depends. If it's fairly flat then bike but I do like to walk and explore plus bring me dog
-our cute but rather unkempt yard -our loud and obnoxious cat and her many scratching posts and pads (and perhaps the scratches she's made in our rug) -that we use our dining room table to hold papers and don't often eat there. -lots of books, newspapers, and magazines on shelves, and stacked on tables and the floor -a couple of large paintings
I will never again teach at a charter school. Awful experience.
I love hiking. Haven't biked in over a decade, and I don't intend to any time soon.
People would notice- 1. Some of Dd's toys 2. Tv in a weird place (stupid cable placement) 3. Pics on the walls 4. Mismatched old couches 5. Dd would most likely be running to the door so I guess Dd
Be in a relationship with someone that doesn't value me. Good thing I'm married to a wonderful man who treasures me, sometimes too much
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? * Our two dogs barking like crazy * a counter top island stacked to the brim with 'stuff' * big bins of apples, potatoes, tomatoes or whatever 'big' harvest is waiting for me to process * the hideously painted full moon on our wall left by the previous tenant that we have yet to cover up * a boat load of house plants
What is one thing you will never do again? * we just moved to our current home after living in an off grid cabin for 3 years. no electricity, no internet, only heat was from a wood stove and so we froze our butts off in the winter until we got a raging fire going...it was an AMAZING experience. I would not change it for the world and have very fond memories of those years, but that being said...it's checked off the list and I'm happy to have my dish washer and washer/drier and all other amenities...especially, with our lil surprise baby on the way!!!
Would you rather hike or bike? * I love both! I don't mountain bike though...so hiking on trails, biking on roads.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
Probably all of the nerdy toys. We're a big gaming family and there are lots of action figures everywhere. After that probably family photos, trophies, all the tech everywhere, and shoes! Oh the shoes!!
What is one thing you will never do again?
Be pregnant. This is my last and I am having my tubes tied right after my c-section.
Would you rather hike or bike?
Hike all the way. I like biking, but hiking seems a little easier on my asthma.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? 1-Barking dog, she doesn't stop barking until people pet her.. 2-cats debating on how long they wait before coming up to you 3-husbands computer set up. (Dual monitors and a complete gaming set; fancy mechanical keyboard, mouse with a num. pad, Etc) yes, I bought him those for certain Holidays. Christmas he get a new graphics card! 4- laundry, laundry everywhere. I am doing a huge laundry binge inbetween work and school. So far nothing is folded but I've done 9 loads. 5-the smell! I just had my carpets cleaned and now it smells like febreeze all the time and it smells sooooo good! I know, probably not where you thought that was going.
What is one thing you will never do again? While I'm sure I will actually have to do this again next year; drive across country!! Ugh!! It was HORRIBLE! I just wanted to be there so badly! I cried theast day of driving because I was so sick of driving.
Would you rather hike or bike? Hike hike hike hike! We had a lot of trials and things like the black diamond mines where I used to live. I would visit the white witch's grave every time we hiked! (At least every time we hiked that reserve) There's nothing like that near here, it's kind of sad.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door? Our staircase, the huge cow picture on the wall to the left, the bar my hubs built, and two doggies
What is one thing you will never do again? go through basic training... thank God I don't have to
Would you rather hike or bike? Bike! I can't get enough of it. I really do love hiking too though!
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your front door?
1. That I clearly have a child (evidenced by the playroom full of toys)
2. My son's clay handprint from when he was a baby hanging on the wall
3. That I have a cat (either because they'll see him or a fur tumbleweed will sweep across their feet)
4. Hopefully that I have an inviting home
5. They'll probably smell something cooking in the kitchen because I feel like the oven is always on when I'm home
What is one thing you will never do again?
- Agree to the narcotics offered by the OB during labor. They really sent me for a loop last time and, as a result, I was in and out of consciousness during my unplanned C-section and feel like I missed my son's birth.
- Judge other moms. It's easy to judge before you have kids of your own.
What are the first five things someone would notice if they walked through your door? - My love and obssession with zombies/the walking dead (zombie decor and twd fan girl stuff all over our house) - Toys all over the living room floor no matter how many times a day I pick them up -Birthday balloons everywhere (DS had his first bday party last saturday) - the scent of pumpkin spice in the air. It smells like that through thanksgiving. I like the scent but not the drink however What is one thing you will never do again? - Like a pp said be pregnant, getting my tubes tied this time Hike or bike? - living in so cal there are so many awesome places to hike so we go hiking every chance we get, not so much right now with the hip pains (
