We are waiting at the hospital now. Contractions started about 4hrs ago and we are waiting for some lab results to come back to see if baby is coming or not. Exciting but a tiny early too!
UPDATE: No UTI or other reasons for labor, however my contractions didn't intensify while I was there so they sent me home to figure it out for myself. Hopefully the contractions will progress quick, or die off fast. I'd just like to know what is going on We only live 15 mins from the hospital so not concerned we won't get back in time, but it's still frustrating not being sure if it's time or not.

That's good news!! Hopefully, they are just practice contractions (which can last weeks). Not ideal, but MUCH better than having baby come this early!!

Ive been having pre labor and/or early labor for about 15hrs straight now. Not really progressing that I can tell. I'm just getting frustrated and annoyed now...
Ugh poor you! I had prodromal labor with both my kids and it sucks bigtime. Hugs to you mama hang in there. If you can sleep at all then do so that your body doesn't become too exhausted. Sending good labor/birthing vibes your way!
@jabbottscott - Curious how long you had it before you went into actual labor? It fizzled off enough last night for me to sleep but still have a persistent cramp feeling and odd contraction coming this morning
I've been having prodromal labor for just about a week now. Tried walking, sex, and baths to try to speed things up but I'm still sitting here pregnant and miserable.

I don't want to scare you lol but if you really wanna know...mine lasted for about 3 days with each child (contractions painful and frequent enough I could not sleep) ending with fetal distress and emergency c-sections. My OB actually told me today that I do pregnancy really well, just not the labor part!
Oh and btw...prodromal labor IS actual labor it is not Braxton Hicks. It just doesn't progress to active labor stage for days or weeks like a more "normal" labor.
