Symptoms: Can't. Stop. Peeing. #thestruggleisreal. Pants are fully unbuttoned. Shout out to the belly band for doing it's job.
Rants/Raves/Stories: my MIL went to a psychic and is pushing all this crap that she was told on me about the baby. I don't like stuff like that and I've told her that numerous times before. Now I'm just ignoring her calls and texts. Do me a favor and do not ask anything about me. Thank youuuuu.

GTKY: I use to watch all the scary movies, but since having a child I cannot stomach any of those anymore. We have watched Charlie Brown a few times this year

Rants/Raves/Stories: we found out our baby's gender this week, and saw how healthy she is inside. So that's a good thing.

Questions: How are we supposed to survive off one income; how can I help make money at home; how am I supposed to keep the house clean when I literally can't stand; is it SUPPOSED to always hurt this much; is she going to make it; are we going to be able to afford everything we need; what's gonna be the deal with my labour; what birth control should I get and when can I get it
GTKY: Favorite scary/Halloween movie? I don't really have a favourite.. I watch different movies every year.

I'm not really a fan of scary movies, but I'll go with hocus pocus.
How are we supposed to survive off one income - Sticking strictly to a potentially aggressive budget. Look strictly at needs ($40 in pre-fold cloth diapers) and then add in either more expensive options (disposables) or wants (fancy cloth or name brand disposables).
how can I help make money at home - what are your skills? Crafting/arts - etsy, children - daycare or babysitting, photography - freelance

Is it SUPPOSED to always hurt this much - ok this one I can't answer, but SI, joint pain and muscle aches are pretty normal.
Is she going to make it - also unknown, but none of us are promised any time with our babies on the outside, all we can do is trust and pray and take hope in the statistics that say the odds go up every day.
are we going to be able to afford everything we need - idk your bills or income, but even if you can't stretch things some months, if you're willing to ask there are so many people and organizations willing to donate food, used baby gear or even help with utilities to people who need it.
what's gonna be the deal with my labour - no one can answer this and as a STM I can't tell you for myself. Make sure you have an OB/midwife you trust to help you through every possibility and try not to worry about what could happen.
what birth control should I get and when can I get it - chat with your OB. You will have at least 6 weeks of prescribed abstinence post birth. After that you can do just about any option, but you need to talk with both your doctor and maybe an LC about potential effects on breast feeding. Again, not something to worry about for quite a while
I'm a major penny pincher, sale finder, money saver. I grew up in a family of 7 way under poverty, so I've always known how to make food and clothes stretch, and what we can or can't do without.
I had a little bit saved, which should have made rent until I found another job, but several visits to the ER depleted it completely. We are now relying on his income for rent, groceries, gas, utilities, AND to get everything for the baby. That's only about $600 a month, and between PR's low wages and high prices, it's a little hard.
We were expecting me to be able to return to work to help prepare for baby, but I've been on bedrest since August. I can't even stand at this point due to whatever the duece happened to my legs when I passed out a couple days ago.
We're on government aid for food now, so that aught to help a bit, but I was already pinching that as far as it could go beforehand, so it's literal pennies.
My plan on the 27th is to talk to my doctor about both options for birth and birth control-- like I said, these were all just questions in my mind.
I've done a few at-home businesses over the years, and I would love to find one of those at-home telemarketer jobs or something, so I've been looking! I'd love to babysit, but I really can't move off the bed, so that wouldn't work
Tbh, it doesn't help that I am both a planner and a go-out-and-doer, so being stuck here not knowing if my baby is going to make it due to a LOT of complications this last week, and not being able to help make money or even keep the house clean has become really overwhelming.
I know we'll figure it out. We always do.
It's just been a really hard week, that's all.
Symptoms: Still with the acne, frequently have to pee, sensative cervix
Rants/Raves/Stories: my body just has to be special... I knew i had a sensative cervix before but now i start to spot with just walking! What the heck!
Upcoming Appointments: This wed...went in last week as emergency and thats how i found out it was my cervix
Questions: any one else deal with a sensative cervix? If my baby keeps measuring ahead will that change my due date?
GTKY: Favorite scary/Halloween movie? Dont really have one. I like watching the reruns of Twilight Zone around this time.
Symptoms: Constant headaches, rlp, new additions: indigestion & sudden sharp pains in the underarm area next to my boob
Rants/Raves/Stories: I can't seem to endure entire days of work or I pass out completely once I come home. Sheesh. I think its the fatigue that'll reveal the pregnancy before my blump! I'm finally telling the in-laws next week and my folks the following week! Telling my parents on their birthday
DH thinks baby has the most particular palette. He was afraid I/baby wouldn't eat any seafood. When he saw me eating cod he said "At least she's not a lost cause!"

Favorite Halloween movie: I hate scary movies. I love Tim Burton's stuff like Corpse Bride, The Nightmare before Christmas.
Symptoms: Things are actually good right now - can't complain!
Rants/Raves/Stories: Busy busy busy weekend! State Fair, Gary Allan concert AND Garth Brooks concert - so happy I can blame my naps on being pregnant, but really I am just getting too old for this much excitement.
Upcoming Appointments: 11/2 just for a 16 week check up - and to schedule my anatomy scan!!! Can't wait!!

Symptoms - RLP, congestion, fatigue, & still having food aversions.. oh, plus this ridiculous gagging when I cough, brush my teeth, when I think about how much I hate gagging!
Rants/Raves/Stories - DHs work hours got changed. Now he's working F/Sa/Su/M 5P-3A, which means even less weekend time together since he's always sleeping when he's here and no help with DS. Can't imagine how it's going to be if this is still the situation when baby #2 arrives. Sigh.. I just miss my guy.
Upcoming Appts - 16w visit on 11/6 with an US to check up on a blood clot.. maybe will get to find out sex as a bonus? We'll see, haha.

GTKY - The Nightmare Before Christmas of course! And Hocus Pocus. I also like a lot of the gory horror movies too.
Symptoms: sciatic and pelvic pain - gets progressively worse during the day, especially whilst in the office / anytime I'm not lying down.
Rants/Raves/Stories: see above rgd pain and backache, plus work stresses - workload and annoying rude colleagues which I have to talk through with this week. Sigh.
Upcoming Appointments: had a scan last week and physio consultation. Next appt will be with occupational health at work.
Questions: has anyone had SPD/sciatic pain that's got better during their pregnancy?
GTKY: Favorite scary/Halloween movie? Oo horror scares me!! Roll on Christmas festivities instead?
Symptoms: A little congestion and CRAZY dreams, but the fatigue seems to be subsiding, and I'm feeling pretty good otherwise.
Rants/Raves/Stories: I know it's a myth that women lose one tooth for every pregnancy, but so far for me, it's spot on! Extraction site is still tender a week on. And of course, every time I've flossed for the past 10 weeks, my mouth looks like a murder scene. I'm also preeeeeetty sure that my gums aren't supposed to be growing up over my teeth, so that's fun. My mouth feels like the most pregnant part of me. Ugh.
Upcoming Appointments: Next checkup is 11/12. Doctor mentioned some additional labs, so that should be fun.

Rants/Raves/Stories: Fiancé told me he's kinda meh about feeling the baby move, I told him I was having flutters, and his hand shot to my stomach almost instantly. I was like, "I thought you didn't really care?" He goes "Of course I care, I just have to make things difficult for you."
Upcoming Appointments: None for a few weeks... Having sonogram on the 17th, to find out gender, etc...
Questions: Is there a nice way to get people to not smoke around me???

Rants/Raves/Stories: My husband is clueless when it comes to costs of baby items. We were discussing cribs and he's very frugal. He was surprised at some prices. Luckily our flashy friends bought a very expensive crib so the reasonable one I like isn't so bad.

Questions: what lotions are people using? I have stretch marks from my daughter so my concern isn't preventing them, but my belly is starting to itch!

GTKY: Favorite scary/Halloween movie: I don't do scary movies, either. I swear the devil lived in the house I grew up in and I've had enough scary in my life to last me a life time. I do like Hocus Pocus, and I LOVE The Nightmare Before Christmas, which I watch all year.
Symptoms: I feel like I'm back in the 1st trimester. Cravings, tiredness, instant hunger.
Rants/Raves/Stories: We just got a 12 passenger van this weekend. We had outgrown our minivan, and with #5 on the way, and the older kids' friends always coming over, we needed extra space. It's so huge! I feel embarrassed driving it. But, the extra space is great.
Upcoming Appointments: Had an appointment last week and got to hear baby's heartbeat. Since I have my own doppler I told the nurse exactly where to poke around for the HB, so that was helpful, LOL.
