For anyone whose wedding rings didn't fit during pregnancy...

How long after you had your baby were you able to wear your wedding rings again? My little man was born a week ago, and I still can't get mine past my knuckle. All of the swelling in my legs and feet is gone, so I can't figure out why I would still be having this issue with my hands and fingers. Is it possible that my knuckles are somehow bigger now and perhaps it's not related to swelling like I thought? I am dying to wear them again!

It took around 5-6 weeks before it would comfortably fit on my finger.

I put mine back on about two weeks later and now I can't get it back off. Didn't realize I was still a tad bit swollen.

About this. I know I has it on at my first trip back to the obgyn at 5.5 weeks but it definitely took a while. At least 4 weeks. And i was able to wear them until 36 weeks! I swelled up all at once at the end.

Thanks, ladies! I'm glad to know it can take a while. I'm a FTM so not sure what to expect, and I guess I thought I'd be able to put them back on the next day. :-P I will just be patient a few more weeks.

Im 2.5 months out and im still having days where its tight, i do still have about 20 lbs to lose so hopefully this will go away once I do!

My hands were the last to lose the swelling. I think it was around 6 weeks that I could finally wear them again comfortably. I also lost feeling in my fingers which didn't return until about 8 weeks pp
