39 weeks

I'm 39 weeks now & still feel like this baby isn't coming anytime soon! No contractions or labor pains going on at all I still feel completely normal. My stomach isn't even that big either . Anyone else feeling this way ? I'm starting to feel very anxious

    I'm 39 today and while I keep getting random contractions they aren't amounting to anything and it's making me super sad. My two step boys will be with their tomorrow afternoon until Sunday afternoon and I'm so worried they won't get to meet their baby brother right away because of it. I could be worrying and she'll bring them to visit if he comes this weekend or he won't come this weekend at all. Either way I'm still finding myself upset.

    I was also stupid and let myself get my hopes up for the day my mom guessed from the beginning because she was spot on with both of my other two. But being that it's almost 730pm here my hopes of today are gone.

    39 tomorrow and I keep getting so bummed that this baby isn't here yet. I've done 2 sessions of acupuncture, the first yesterday and had an afternoon full of pretty intense Braxton hicks. Today when I left it was pouring rain so my walk I had planned went out the window and I have been doing stairs and bouncing on my exercise ball ever since. Baby has been very excited and it hasn't been long since my session so fingers crossed tonight brings on labour, however I'm doubtful. I do not feel like you with the small belly. I have escaped with only 2 stretch marks on my belly and one on each hip so far and now I'm seeing quite a few very faint ones starting. I am trying to not get to upset but it really sucks. My skin hurts and I feel like if I ran into something sharp I might burst. I am so eager, as I'm sure all of us October mommas who aren't cuddling fresh babies are. We are getting close.

    I have just about 5 days to go to my due date and had NO signs of anything at all! No BH, no mucus plug no nothing. At 39 weeks MW said baby is engaged and quite low, that made me hopeful but then again the lack of symptoms is just depressing. I will get a sweep at 40 weeks if he doesn't come before and again at 41 if still nothing. 10 days overdue and my birthplan will go out the window :-(

    39 weeks and stressed out! I am having to go twice a week for checks and monitoring. Having contractions and pains daily. I was at -2 but in three days she went back up!!! Now they are talking about inducing. Baby movement has slowed down, I had protein in my urine and high blood pressure out of the blue last week. And my feet are soooooo swollen! This baby needs to come out like now!

    I'm 39wks 4 days, I feel like he is never coming out! I am so anxious!!! I am also a FTM, so I'm just a little nervous how everything is going to play out. I just want to hold him already!! If he doesn't come by November 3rd then they will induce the 4th,praying he is out by then. I really don't want to be induced.

    Ugh, I'm 39+4. Doctor said last week no dilation or effacement. My next appointment is Tuesday, at which point I'll get a NST and they'll check again. If nothing has changed, they'll schedule me for a scan, check baby out and go from there. This is my first so I'm starting to get nervous about being induced. I'm hoping that full moon on Tuesday will help me out!!

    Hoping the full moon helps us out! 39+3 today and seeing NO signs of baby wanting to come soon. DS showed up on his EDD 2 years ago, but by now I had already seen the bloody show and had a ton of cramping. Blah.

    Also, small rant: don't you hate it when people say "baby will come when s/he's ready!" It's like we don't know this?! Can we not complain a little bit about being so far along and wanting to get the show on the road?

    I TOTALLY agree- I'm 40+5 and I get this response and it makes me want to scream! I need you to nod your head and say "you're doing a great job keeping your cool, waiting must be tough!"

    I'm 40+2, two cm dilated, completely effaced, having cramps and BH contractions all the time, I'm leaking colostrum and lost my mucus plug this week, and still no baby :(( I am trying really hard not to feel depressed, but it's hard.
