Weekend plans

Whats everyone up to this weekend?
We are on our way to a corn maze (thanks @ladysamlady). DH thought it would be dumb until he researched it, and now he is more excited than I am!
Tomorrow is our normal Sunday Funday bar day to watch the Steelers. I am looking forward to more spicy virgin bloody marys and baked mac with buffalo sauce! My new fav bar meal :)
I just wish it wasn't so damn cold here!

    It's pouring down rain non-stop, as it will all weekend.

    I plan to venture out for a belated baby shower (the baby came early, so it was kind of changed to a sip 'n see). And I'm not excited about the traffic I will no doubt face.

    Birthday present shopping for my daughter and getting things for her party next weekend. She also has a soccer game today. Tomorrow going hiking with a friend, husband is going dirt bike riding. It's 90 degrees here all weekend so trying to stay cool.

    DH and I are going out tonight for a friend's surprise birthday party. It's been a few months since we've had an evening out without DS. Either today or tomorrow we'll take our announcement picture. I wanted to do it outside in the autumn leaves, but it looks like it's going to rain most of the weekend. I may have to come up with an alternative option.

    I ran in a color run 5k this morning! It was so much fun and I did surprisingly better than I anticipated. Relaxing tonight and tomorrow. Girls night tomorrow night with another pregnant friend :)

    We have no plans this weekend for the first time in a loooong time and I couldn't be happier! We took the dogs to the park, went to a farmers market in our neighborhood, and currently binge watching Fixer Upper on Netflix. Perfect lazy fall Saturday!

    Big weekend in DC, my husband's running his first marathon!!! Pretty exciting stuff!!

    Took my car over to my dad's today to have him change my brakes then heading over to Oktoberfest in just a bit.

    Then cleaning house and packing for our trip tomorrow. Then Monday off to Georgia. Yay!

    I feel like a pregnant person all the way this weekend! Visited some friends last night and ordered in pizza, met a friend for brunch this morning at my favorite neighborhood restaurant and got a couples massage this afternoon! Now I'm about to take a long nap before going to a movie tonight. Feels.so.awesome.

    We spent all day making Halloween costumes and then another birthday party. I spent the whole time chatting with my mommy friends, my son was cuddling the baby dolls with his "girlfriend" (his word, not mine) and cooking her pretend dinner which he then served to her as she shoved a bottle in their baby's mouth (both completely ignored the rest of the two year olds), and MH slept in the car (the party was at one of those kid play zones and he has a bad man-cold and "didn't want to get anyone sick"...).

    Tomorrow is church, where I will ask God for strength to make it through dinner with the ILs. We will officially announce that we are expecting and I am just not sure how it will land. We'll just have to see...

    I did some baking for our family's restaurant (Halloween cake balls) bc the batch I did last week sold out in 2 days. I made 75! We were supposed to have DD's school picnic but it got rained out. Tomorrow I am making cheese stuffed meatballs and (if it has stopped raining) take DD to the park. I'm really backed up on my shows so I may do some catch up tonight with DH after football is over.

    I'm a social worker and on call 24/7 for my client's unless I ask coworkers to cover for me (which, of course, I don't do often enough). I asked for coverage this weekend because I just need a few days without talking to a client or handling a crisis so I have THREE glorious days of no client contact, sweatpants, and binge watching Grey's Anatomy (again)! I haven't had more than one whole day off since early June! We also started our registry this weekend, so that's been fun!

    That sounds like a perfect weekend to me. I LOVE fixer upper! Chip is hilarious!!

    At work, at 5 yesterday and today. Yesterday we went to the Charleston Mac Off. It was terrible. You queue up to get in, then go to an ATM (cash only), then to buy little yellow tickets, then half an hour or more per place you want to sample Mac and Cheese from. It was terribly organized, we won't be back next year.

    After work today I need to round up a few more things we need and place orders for everything online. Whee...

    We did. We didn't use the map so took a lil longer than expected. But the farm was great. Amazing weekend trip when LO is old enough!

    You ladies are amazing! I sat on my couch all weekend because I've been sick, with the exception of this morning when I made it out for a mini reunion. Now it's back to the couch.
