I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and I hit my stomach on the door knob really hard.. do u think I could have done some damage. I called the emergency room and they told me I should be fine but follow up with my doctor. What do you all think? It's still a little sore and it happened yesterday. ..

    I think you should be fine. When a friend of mine was pregnant she had her toddler climbing all over her. If you start to bleed or cramp contact your doctor but IMO you'll be fine.

    I play vball and im 24 weeks. I was hit in the stomach with a ball 2x my doctor each time told me im fine. Sge also encourages me to keep playing so nobody tell me im wrong to keep playing im very active and cross fit, barre, and lift free weights. I'm just a little more careful when i play now. The baby is like a package with bubble wrap around it.... You might feel soreness or some bruising but the baby should be fine! I worried the first time it happened alot. It also freaked me out since my doctor could care less.

    If you start to bleed or cramp badly go to hospital immediately, otherwise baby is very well insulated and your body automatically adjusts to protect baby before you - so you might be sore, but baby is much more likely to be ok :)

    I have a two year old and a one year old who are always on top of me. I catch feet, knees, elbows, and heads on my belly all the time. I'm sure you're fine.
