2nd Trimester

FTM feeling very...normal.

I think I'm just paranoid I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks and everything was great ! I'm now 17 weeks and my symptoms aren't as strong. (Other than having to pee all the time) I'm just nervous. Please tell me I'm not the only one !

Re: FTM feeling very...normal.

  • 100% normal. Symptoms come and go all throughout pregnancy. Lack of symptoms has nothing to do with the health of your baby or your pregnancy.

  • Be happy you feel normal. It is much better than the opposite.

And while these boards can sometimes feel like they are full of women that are miserable while pregnant, it is possible to actually enjoy pregnancy. I just think those women don't post as often.

  • It's normal.
  • Totally normal. I know with symptoms you are like "alright, something is still in there" but it's totally normal for symptoms to come and go. Try not to worry about it.

  • It's normal. Have you got a good pregnancy book you can consult?

  • I am 16 weeks and don't really feel any differently than I did before pregnancy, except for maybe being a little extra tired and having a bit of a belly. It makes me a little nervous too, but I'll take it over having bad symptoms.
  • I'm 22 weeks and I've felt pretty great through out most of it, besides being a bit tired and 10 days of morning sickness back in week 6. Lately the only thing that gives away I'm pregnant is that I can feel baby move!!!
  • I just was at my doctors telling her I was worried that I just don't feel pregnant at all anymore. I'm 17w4d. I feel like I've stopped growing and feel like it was over with. She checked and everything was fine. Baby is still there and more active than ever. I was super worried and she just laughed a little and says it's sooo normal to feel like that. So no worries!! You are not alone. ;)
  • thank you everyone :) I did have my second trimester ultrasound ! Everything is great and I found out I am having a HEALTHY baby boy
  • The second trimester is a beautiful time! Trust me, when you hit the third trimester you'll be missing this. Once you start feeling movement (which wasn't until 22 weeks for me but will probably be sooner for you) you won't worry anymore. Enjoy it!
