help!!!

So my last period was end of July. I tested and tested and got nothing but negative tests. I thought maybe I was menopausal but blood tests showed normal hormones. So I accepted that I wasn't pregnant and moved on. A couple of weeks ago I still just felt pregnant (I've had 4 so I know what it feels like). I took a dollar store test and a faint line showed. A few hours later I took a clear blue test and it said not pregnant. 4 days later I took a dollar store test and it was positive. Then the next morning i did clear blue again and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. So yesterday I went to a walk in clinic to confirm the pregnancy and her test said no. So I left and bawled my eyes out in the car because I'm completely confused. Then a few hours later I started bleeding. I've been bleeding for 24 hrs now. Red blood, no pain, only when I wipe. So what the heck is going on? Am I pregnant? Am I not? Am I miscarrying? Am I not? I'm rh negative too. I have ultrasound on Thursday but I'm going crazy in the meantime.

    I'm sorry ur struggling, but no one other than your doctor is equipped to answer this for u. However, I will say that if ur doctor tested you and it was negative then you are not pregnant at this time. Since u had one confirmed "1-2 weeks pregnant" digital Test, it sounds as if you had a brief chemical pregnancy. Out of curiosity, why is ur doctor performing an ultrasound if your pregnancy test was negative? So sorry ur going through this confusion :-(

    Read the TOU, you aren't supposed to ask if you are pregnant. Only a doctor can tell you. The test at the doctor came back negative and those are more reliable and quantitative. I don't know why the home tests were positive but the doctors test was negative so I would have to say not pregnant.

    The ultrasound is weird, I agree. If their test was negative, then there is nothing to see. If a clear blue was 1-2 weeks there will be nothing to see but thickened endometrium.

    Unfortunately it sounds like a chemical pregnancy. Your doctor is the only one who can answer your question for definite though. Wishing you the best.

    But their own test was negative. There isn't much to see at 4 weeks gestation. In fact, there isn't much to see until hCG hits 1,500. If you were unable to get a positive blood test it seems like a waste of time to do an ultrasound. Just my non medical opinion but it seems silly. My OB won't see me until a minimum of 7 weeks and I have a positive blood test.

    I think it's because the positive tests came weeks after the blood tests

    Did your doctor do an initial urine or blood test? For my chemical pgs I got positive HPTs, but by the time I went to the doctor's the hCG was usually declining or very low. A typical urine test (e.g. that a PCP does) may not pick up the low level that a blood test does (e.g. that my RE does, or PCP upon request). I am sorry for the uncertainty. Wishing you some clarity.
