BFP Today- Intro FTM

Hi ladies!
Was very active on TTC for the last 2 months since DH and I started trying. So excited to have gotten to move to BMB. Got a light line on a FRER first thing this morning. Then ran out and got a Clear Blue digi to double check and yep it's true. Eeeeek! Is this real life? Also what do you mean I can't tell people at 2 weeks pregnant?

So glad to have you ladies and excited about hanging around here

Please excuse me if I sound like a bumbling idiot for a while. This is my first pregnancy ever. Only symptom so far is twinges almost like cramps but a lot smaller, already sat our dogs down to announce they'll be big siblings, and went to babies r us like crazy people to price out how much it's going to cost for stuff. Now I guess we wait and try not to look awkward while not drinking tonight.

Any other TTC gals around? Any advice for a super wound up FTM?

I have no advice but I'm hoping others do because I too am a wound up FTM!

Congrats and welcome to the club.

I will confess that the other window I have open right now is the Babies R Us crib comparison page. We're going to a 3 day wedding this weekend and it's been hard to look like I'm drinking when I'm not.

Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you

I, too, have no advice because I can hardly contain myself. I keep turning to my husband and announcing "I'm pregnant!" every 15 minutes. It's just so surreal to say those words out loud!

I just checked with FF about EDD now I see what you guys are saying! LMP started 9/23 so FF is saying 4+3 days EDD 6/29, fetus age 3 weeks. I'm only 12 DPO though (ETA: I know because temping)... The digi said 1-2 weeks. Idk! Lol why should this be any less confusing than the rest of it.

Based on LMP, we're EDD twins! (But according to my O date from temping EDD is 6/30. Shrug.)

No worries, I get the need to immediately research baby things. I went to Target yesterday and wandered the baby section for the first time without getting bummed

Here's my advice it's not going to help with being "wound up", I think I was like that my entire first pregnancy... just try to enjoy it

. but since you were talking about BRU... put your crib and all baby furniture on your registry then use your registry when you buy it. You get back 5% on the first $300 and then 10% on the everything after that (I think that I have those numbers right) so we got a big chunk of money back (through gift cards) on purchases we made ourselves.

How exciting! It does sound like you're 4w3d along. The digi tests tell you how mane weeks past ovulation, so it makes sense it read 1-2. Since I'm a POAS addict, I'll probably take another one of those digi tests next week to see if it's 3+ lol
