We did last time. My son was 18 months when my daughter was born. He would run across the room and try to tackle her. Honestly, if left alone in a room together.., she would NOT have made it out alive! But of course they became fast friends when she was old enough to play with him, around 13 months. Plus she's very smart and he's a little behind. So, it's almost as though they're the same age developmentally.

I will for 3 months. I'm also terrified and this baby was planned (well sorta, we were NTNP under the illusion it would take as long to get pregnant the second time around as it did the first, instead it was like one month....)
We had 3 under 2 for the first month. I just remember living on coffee, lol. This time, the two youngest will be 2.5 when #4 comes. I miss coffee. A lot.
BFP 5/2/11 DS born 1/19/12.
BFP #2 12/29/12, EDD 9/6/13, MC 1/2/13.
BFP #3 5/4/13, EDD 1/9/14 Twin Boys! L&L born 12/18/13
I feel I should say, though, that even though it was rough the first year, now, it's great having them closer in age. All 3 are best buds and love playing together.

I like hearing this! I just need to embrace the suck that the first year will be
Bless you all, seriously. My son just turned 4 and that was the earliest I could see myself having 2 little ones at the same time. I would probably lose my shit in a parking lot somewhere trying to unfold a double stroller or something. Yep. That would be me lol.
What is everyone doing sleeping wise? I think we're going to have to get another crib because I don't want to put DS in a toddler bed before he is ready. At 19 months, he should be in a crib still, right?
Heck yes, leaving LO in crib @Bear14+, we're putting the pnp back in our room for the new baby, we live in a small house so we don't have a lot of options, should be awesome (
My first two are 14 months apart (now 3 and 4) and I love how close they are! They are best friends and keep each other entertained also! It gets much easier when they are both out of diapers
I had 3u3 for awhile. Now I have a 1, 2 & 3 year old. It's just crazy fun. DH & I just look at each other & laugh all the time! You just have to embrace the chaos.
My oldest has never warmed up to her brother & sister until they were about a year old. And actually, with my middle child, I literally had to force the 2 of them into a crib together for a few minutes to get my oldest to come around.
When I had 2u2, they shared a room, each in their own crib, for about a year. It was a lot easier than it sounds. One of them was a heavier sleeper, so she always went down first, then we'd sneak the other one in.
Now we have a bigger house & (for another year anyway ) everyone has their own room. The 2 & 3 year old are in converted toddler beds & my one year old is in a pack n play. We're getting my oldest a Thomas the Train bed for her birthday next month, then my youngest will finally get his own crib.
My first 2 are 16 months apart. Baby 3 is due 2 weeks after my oldest's 3rd birthday, so we are just outside of having 3 under 3! I was super nervous about how DS would behave when my daughter was born, but the older she got, the more DS was able to interact with her and it was pretty smooth sailing from there on out. She started crawling at 5 months and they have been inseparable ever since. Having the babes so close definitely presents some challenges, but I couldn't imagine having it any other way! It's the best.
My first two were 2 under 2. They're 18 months apart. It was challenging, of course but it definitely gets easier. They're so close in size/age now that people think we have twins sometimes.

Hi! I'll have 2u2 and 3u4. My oldest will be 3.5 middle will be 22months when this guy is born. Last time around we bought a second crib as DS1 was still in his. DS1 will move to a new big bed (his crib converted to toddler bed and he's still in that), in about 6 months. Both DS1 and DS2 will share a room when we get the new big bed. DS2 will stay in his crib until we convert it to a toddler bed.
New baby will go in a crib in his/her own room at about 8 weeks. For the first 6-8 weeks baby will sleep in our room.
Re: 2 under 2??
Ditto for a month, I'm terrified:) and this baby was planned!
