1st baby.. So excited/scared/nervous!

Today I went for my first u/s where I got to see the baby (embryo). I had one ultrasound previously due to a bit of spotting (I went to the ER because I have poly cystic ovaries and didn't think I could get Prego in the 1st place so I'm a complete worry wart) considering my first u/s was in the ER at night they wouldn't show me the scan , plus I was only 6 weeks so I don't know what I would see anyways. It turned out I had a hematoma, and they said the heart rate was low only reading 112bpm. Naturally I was a nervous wreck, I went to get a Doppler so I could check on the baby and make sure the heart beat was still there. This morning was like Christmas, I woke up bright and early and jumped in the car and headed to the dr. Got my June 3rd due date, no hematoma and a heart rate of 168bpm. I'm still a nervous wreck, I don't know why, maybe it's just what happens when your becoming a mommy? I am so excited

    I think we are in for a lifetime of being a nervous wreck.

    I just got a sore throat and I instantly got scared it would hurt my baby. You know, because no pregnant woman has had a sore throat before and been fine :sarcasm: :)

    Once you become mama, the worry never stops :) heck, we live A BLOCK from school and I freak out if my daughter is 2 mins later than normal walking home. Of course, she's been kidnapped and sold into slavery. In two minutes. Because that's rational. *eye roll*
