UPDATE: Blighted Ovum

Unfortunately, my check up appointment was this morning and there was no baby. My doctor ruled it a Blighted Ovum. Because I had a perfectly healthy first pregnancy, I had no doubt this one would be the same. Therefore, once I got the BFP, hubby and I immediately became attached. Having these pregnancy symptoms with no baby to show for, is really difficult.

I'm scheduling a D&C procedure next week to remove the gestational sac. Thank you to all who have prayed for us! I'm asking for continued prayers for the upcoming D&C. Sad to see this discussion board go. I enjoyed reading and communicating with you all. Prayers and blessings to each of you specific to your situation that you are in. If you are having a healthy pregnancy, I pray that God blesses you throughout the pregnancy and delivery as well. Well wishes and positive vibes for you all. If you have just learned or heaven forbid, will soon learn that you will experience a type of loss, prayers for peace and stronger faith throughout the situation.
