Need Advice. Miscarriage. ?

Ok sorry this may be long but I want to make sure I put in all the info and hear what you ladies think.

On Tuesday I started spotting ( dark brown ) I had an appt on Wednesday and so they did an u/s to see what was going on. They could see a sac but no yoke or fetal pole. I thought from my lmp that I was 8 weeks. They told me the sac looked about 5 weeks so my dates could be off. They also did blood work on Wednesday which the nurse said was saying 5 weeks also. I have since started bleed more and the color has changed to red. I have to go back next week for an u/s to see if they see a fetal pole or yoke sac. Has this ever happened to anyone? What does everyone think? I just wish I knew what was going on w my body.

    That's a tough one. I have, unfortunately, been in a similar situation which turned out to be a blighted ovum. Blighted ovums happen when something early in the development just doesn't work--chromosomes don't multiply or some other issue. So you are pregnant and your body is doing it's job, but the embryo/ovum does not progress.

    Keep working with your doctors and keep your chin up. There are stories like yours with happy endings. Take care of yourself.

    Pregnant again with OE. EDD 11/9/17 Girl!

    Did you get a pregnancy test before you thought your period was due? (As in, about 3 weeks ago?) If so, you couldn't only be 5 weeks pregnant... Which unfortunately would mean. Miscarriage. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

    I did get positive test on September 23. I was due for my period on September 25th.

    Based on when you got your BFP, it unfortunately sounds like you may be having a miscarriage. My T&P are with you and your family.

    This is really hard. There may still be some hope, but with the three week gap (that is pretty huge) and bright red bleeding, it doesn't sound good. I hope I'm wrong. T&P.

    I'm really sorry.... It sounds like chances are good it's a miscarriage. I too had a blighted ovum last time. However I waited till 10 weeks just in case, because sometimes they are wrong about such things...
