No. You'll have to use your imagination for bday parties since it will be too cold outside and two sets of presents in a month might be a little costly. But it's not bad and those are not essentials.
Nope! What's even more exciting for my and my SO, is that our LO is actually due around Christmas! :x Which makes for an even BETTER holiday fo us! Especially him. Since he's more in to Christmas than I am. But I'm still excited about it all.
Yes, all of us d15 moms are horrible human beings for bringing children into the world in the month of December. So are the n15 moms who go late and j16 moms who go early. Our children are ruined for life
I have a Dec birthday and am a bitter and jaded person. I am also am currently suffering from dry skin and acidity totally because I was born in December. I completely blame my parents.
But seriously, I love my December birthday. I am always with family (either mine or DH's) on my birthday because it is also near Christmas. Makes me feel very loved.
I'm due dec 21st and a coworker gave the idea of 1/2 birthday. Nothing big, family fun games, cupcakes and small present. Plus kids get plenty of presents.
It's terrible! The most magical time of year with the holidays so I have no idea why you would want to bring a baby into this world then. You might want to induce early so as not to have the baby in Dec.
Now before some of you get your panties in a bunch, I'll point out that's sarcasm. Winter is actually my favorite season. I would love to have a December baby.
Your baby is going to come when he or she wants and whether you think it's a bad time or not. You'll just have to make the best of it and make it positive for them.
@helsbels222 you are such a problem solver! I am totes going to induce or schedule a section early to prevent a lifetime of failure and disappointment for my son. I'm sure my midwives will support my new birth plan.
Of course they will support it @spottedginger. No one wants to see a child grow up with a December birthday. I mean, who cares about the health risks of having a baby preterm as long as you avoid a December birthday. OP should start drinking alcohol and smoking because they help with preterm labor. Also castor oil helps induce too. Anything just please for the love of god, not a December birthday !!

Any other tips to induce super early? My cousin's daughter turns a year old on Christmas and I don't want my child dealing with such horror.
My husband's birthday is December. He always complains about it, but I think it's awesome. When he was in school, he always had off for his birthday. Now he's a teacher, and he always has off. Mine's the day after Valentine's Day. Let's just say I always get lots of red/pink flowers because they are half off. Plus, all the restaurants are completely booked where I live...I think the day after dinner is a thing now.
I'm due Dec 26 and people literally have said "oh I'm sorry, your poor baby" Ppl say dumb stuff. It's a wonderful time of year full of family and festivities it'll be even more fun with a birthday!
What kind of question is this? Of course it's fine. My birthday is Dec 28 - I never got "combined gifts," and when I was in school my mom would just have my birthday party in January. No big deal.
If you had concerns maybe you should have not had sex in March.
I get it. Like I said I'm due around be same time and people do say insensitive stuff that would lead you to believe it's a "bad" time to have a birthday. Silly.

Me too. DS was born in Dec. of 11. Add me to the horrible mom club.
