This week at work I have been spending the majority of my time either trying not to puke or wishing I was sleeping instead of doing any work. Should be noted that IDGAF.

Looks like we are having the same week. Highly considering telling my boss today in my one on one in hopes that she encourages me to leave early and rest.

Same here! Trying to figure out what I can eat so I don't get nauseous because all the snacks I brought from home don't sound appetizing any more. Not much work going on over here. But atleast today is Friday, no one does work on Friday, Right?
On another note who microwaves FISH AT WORK???? I mean isn't that an unwritten rule that it's a no no. Also who does that at 8:30 in the morning. Now i'm walking around with my stink face trying not to gag. I feel like the smell is burned into my nose.

I absolutely HATE when people think it's ok to microwave fish at work....especially for breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is awful- I absolutely adore and am very attracted to my husband.
He doesn't have great teeth and just got a orthodontist appointment to see what he can do to make his teeth straighter. I am SO thankful that he is getting Invisalign instead of braces because I was really worried about not finding him attractive for a short time. ">
Me too, haha! I had some serious orthodontic intervention as a kid, and would HATE to have visible devices as an adult. So nice there's another option for your DH!
I know this isn't very juicy, but it's all I got. I just started binge watching Wentworth on Netflix and it kicks Orange is the New Black's ass. So I guess my confession is that I'm not at all excited for the next OINTB season anymore. Wentworth is the shit! (scary, psycho insane shit!!)
I guess I'll keep going. I haven't done a single second of exercise beyond the absolutely necessary amount to accomplish mandatory activities like getting to work and dressing and feeding and bathing my children. I seriously have to convince myself to get up and walk to the water cooler at work. SO lazy and tired.
I'm afraid of all food. Either I'm afraid it will make me sick because everything is gross right now or I'm afraid it's infected with something. For example, I could probably tolerate the Sabra hummus, but paranoid there will be another recall due to listeria. We are also big frozen veggie fans, and two things that we regularly purchase of another brand also had a recall this month. It's like everything I like is more likely to be struck by lightning!
I don't know if this is a flame-able offence but I'm about ready to kill my OB's office. Was there for a 2nd beta to ensure progression and they said result would be back today. It's 2:18 and they haven't called yet and they close at 4 and I refuse to wait until monday. I called the other day to see if my last one was in and don't want them to think I'm a crazy person but I'm dying to know!
Sgoldberg247 Don't worry about them thinking you're crazy. I'd maybe wait till 3-3:30 and call 'em back. I am someone who would take the risk of annoying the receptionist if it means putting my mind at ease. And more often than not - a call back has been overlooked. Good luck!

Just called them back and they suck at expectations management apparently. Despite being told yesterday that I'll heard back today, they waid results aren't back from the lab yet and they'll call later today or on monday. I WILL be calling back at 3:30 if I haven't heard yet. I purposefully went in yesterday so I didn't have to wait all weekend to hear back and am now irrationally angry that they don't have them yet.
My kid watched TV for 3.5 hours straight yesterday so I could rest. I'll have to lie on that "do you limit your child's screen time" question at his 4 year checkup.

@CourtJack and @ella26 Thank you both, I figured I was just a total crazy person being impatient!
Called (again) and they STILL don't have them but the patient support people are apparently open until 5 (the the office is only open until 4?) so they will call if they come in by then. It's just a second beta, my first was dead average (just over 200 at 4 weeks exactly) but I'm still freaking out that it'll be low despite hpts that have been getting darker and the recent appearance of nausea.
Another FFFC, I have become insanely impatient recently. Dog takes more than a minute or two to pick where he wants to pee, I get grumpy. Oven takes longer than expected to preheat (because preheating to 425 is totally expected to happen in under 3 minutes right?) I throw myself down on the couch in a huff. If this keeps up, its going to be a long 35 weeks.
I found out yesterday afternoon Id be on bedrest for the next two days. I'm a teacher and totally forgot about a conference I had scheduled with a mom today and obvs Im not there! When school called me to ask if I knew I told them I didn't know about the meeting!!! That wasn't actually a lie, I just truly forgot. So then I had my sub go in my files and pull out the moms number and email so I could apologize to her but her phone is cut off and she didn't write an email address on her info form. I feel so bad.

I heard Wentworth is amazing, but DH & I struggled to get through the 1st episode, & then gave up on it. Maybe I should try it again!!
I feel so guilty, but sometimes I play up how badly my head hurts or how exhausted I am to DH simply because I want a night off. A night off of cooking, cleaning, laundry, whatever it is...I just want a break sometimes. My job can be so mentally draining some days, & there are times I come home & don't want to do ANYTHING. I know if I tell him how awful I feel he will make me lay down & won't let me lift a finger. It's awful, & I know karma will get me back for it by making me feel 100x worse, lol.
I don't understand the point or 'trunk or treat'. Are you seriously so crazed that you think your neighborhood is poisoning your kid's candy??? Or please tell me it is something you do as an extra candy bonus the day before Halloween? When I hear of parents doing this I automatically assume they're a paranoid lunatic, and I feel so bad for their poor children who can't go out trick or treating around their neighborhood like a normal American.
Please read this to further understand why "trunk or treat" makes me pissed:
@DeePaddy24 totally give it another go. It's SO good. Like shockingly good. I literally cannot stop watching it. I promise myself just one more episode then some crazy ass shit happens and I just need to keep going. I guess maybe the first episode is slow ? I can't remember to be honest. But I can relate in that it took me 3-4 tries to get into Breaking Bad. But I definitely don't regret it. If you do end up watching report back!! :-)

Lee just did one tonight in the school parking lot. It was an event the PTO put together as a fundraiser, there was an indoor Halloween party as well. I totally agree with you I would NEVER substitute it for regular trick or treating. In fact yesterday my UO was all about how I'm so sick of what Halloween has become

You'll have to excuse my rage about my judgement towards your trunk or treating school event. There is a church down th street from me advertising a parking lot trunk or treat on Halloween NIGHT. Everytime I drive past this sign I get so angry about it. Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, one of the few holidays that we have in which it doesn't matter what your religion is; as Halloween is partially a celebration of being apart a community- and this church is perpetuating this new idea that good old fashioned trick or treating is now suddenly a dangerous activity. So again I apologize for jumping to conclusions about your trunk or treat. I hope you have fun trick or treating next Saturday!
Okay my confession is that I sometimes want to punch my SIL in the face even though I generally like her. I casually mentioned that if this baby is a boy we might do a Harry Potter nursery and she freaked out about how her kids will never be able to visit because she doesn't want them learning witchcraft. Seriously?! If I wanted to teach your kid witchcraft I'd break out the Wicca books and invite him over for a solstice. Harry Potter is not evil incarnate no matter what your Cousin Uncle Preacher told you last Sunday! #endrant
I'm not sure if this is a flammable offense but I've been super irritated at my ob office because my first ob visit and ultrasound isn't until I'm 11 weeks along. They got me in at 5 weeks for blood work but I saw a person for 5 minutes. My SO and I have so many questions and it just sucks to see all these ultrasound pictures and hearing about people's 8 week appointments and I still have to wait three more weeks for my first visit. Makes me super frustrated and mad some days

Haha! No worries! I join you in your rage!!!!! We won't be trick or treating on Saturday though because to add to my Halloween Rage we have a Fing wedding ON HALLOWEEN! It's fall themed but not Halloween themed X( However my MIL lives in PA and they do trick or treat the Thursday before Halloween. We will be going there. Not happy about it.
