  Well for starters- it's nub theory.. Not "bub theory". People on thebump generally don't like to guess at these. It's really best to wait until your ultrasound tech tells you what the sex will be. If u want to guess based on nub theory, google explains in detail how u yourself can guess. It's not super fun for the rest of us to guess because we don't know u.

  While it may be fun for you and your close family and friends to guess, most Internet strangers do not care how your child will pee. Also, a lot of us on TB are less concerned about our child's sex and are mostly concerned about whether or not they are growing healthy and strong.

  agreed, ahah. I've never heard of "nub theory", but I'm sure it's just that: a theory. like PP said, flip a coin. your chances of that coin guessing the right answer are probably the same as this theory.

  A girl.  Our U/S tech took a guess, at 16 weeks, based on nub, pointed down, that it was a girl, and she was right.  Pointed down = girl, Pointed up = boy.  Of course it's always a toss up, but fun to guess!
