I need honest opinions, money tight and Amazon recently contact me to work a seasonal position in fulfillment center I'm due in January and I really need a second job since I'm bring in baby # 2,my boyfriend think it's a waste of time, however friends I talk to say they see prego working there.honest I'm getting closer to popping,is it a good idea to peruse or walk away from this..... second if you think it is a good idea is it a good idea to be upfront about the pregnancy if I'm hired.

  • If you aren't having major complications, why not? My days are from 7:00-5:00 (tonight 8:30) and I'm mostly on my feet (going up and downstairs too). I would be upfront because you are most likely showing. Technically they can't discriminate because you are pregnant.

  • Thank you I'm just nervous and getting advice helps me
  • I would say it wouldn't hurt to at least look into it. And definitely be upfront about the pregnancy, they may even be more accommodating if they know you're pregnant and give you a job that isn't as physical. If they do offer you something where you have to be on your feet all day just check with your doctor before accepting - I'm sure as long as you haven't had any complications yet your doc would be ok with it.
