Heartbeat at 6 weeks?

I had my first ultrasound yesterday and we were able to see the baby's heartbeat. The doc said it was 107 which was good since they like to see it over 100. I was reading online and some sites say that is low? what was your baby's early heart rate?

I am a bit of a worry wart!

I've heard over 100 is fine. Mine was 115 at 6wks

The heartbeat will grow stronger as you get further along. If your Dr said it was fine, it's fine.

I had my first appointment at 6 weeks 1 day, and the HB was 130. If your doctor isn't concerned, you probably shouldn't be either at this point.

I was 6w1d at my first ultrasound and my baby's was 122bpm, my doctor said the farther along I get, the faster it gets. If your doctor isn't concerned then you should be fine

At 6 weeks 3 days ours was 134. Ours said anything over 100 is good. Trust your doc!

Perfect! At 6 weeks mine was 107 too and now our 8 week scan showed 176..it's only just started beating so it will get faster

You're fine - you've reached a major milestone. Once your baby's heart has started beating your chance of miscarriage drops by quite a bit. 107 is a fine heartbeat.

I don't see a reason to worry if your doctor thinks it's fine

My baby's heartbeat was 111bpm at 6w2d and the OB was happy with getting anything over 100 this early. At 6 weeks your baby's heart has only just started beating and is not yet fully developed. What counts now is only that there's a beat at all and that the heart rate goes up significantly over the next few weeks.

Listen to your doc and stop googling, you'll drive yourself bananas!!!!!!
Mine was 115 around that stage. It will get faster then slow down later. Mine was 137 the other day for example but had been 155 a few weeks ago. It can be different at different times of the day too.

At 6w4d mine was 110. Then at 9w4d it was 176. Now at 13weeks it's 157. I wouldn't worry about it being 107. Very normal at 6 weeks! Congrats!

At 6w2d mine was at 143. They said as long as it was over 100 because the heart hasn't fully developed yet. It's very exciting hearing the heartbeat for the first time!!! This is my first pregnancy and I have been worrying a lot!!
