3rd Trimester

I live for her little hiccups.

Not sure about anyone else but I am 32 weeks and have been having a hard time being mostly solo during the week with hubs working across the state a bunch and it has really taken a toll on me. (Fortunately he will be here full time again very soon) it's been hard as I have really struggled to enjoy pregnancy fully because of how exhausted i have been just trying to function as independently as I always have.

The things which make me smile most and light up the difficult times have been:

1. When my little munchkin gets the hiccups (which she does quick often these days)
2. Feeling her little back pressed up against my belly.
3. Getting little punches from her and knowing what position she is in.
4. When she tries to escape through my ribs (even though it hurts sometimes).
5. Food Delivery service.
6. Little tiny baby clothes.

What gets you through the day?

  • The little kicks definitely keep me going. I have a lot of anxieties right now but feeling her is the one thing that always puts a smile on my face.

  • minibean This LO hasn't had hiccups, but my daughter got them all the time. It was neat to feel them down near my right hip and know exactly where her head was.

I have to say the out of the blue hiccups. :) Which ALWAYS surprises me. Lol! I can't really say the stretching and such, since I'm such a small built Gal, weight and body wise in general. There are times those litt5ke knees, elbows, hands, and feet REALLY hurt! @-) Normally though, my LO just keeps me really going. Since I have two dogs that keep me going good, as well. Thank goodness for having such a great SO, to help with them them, too! So, not much anxiety for me.

But I'm sorry for those of you that have anxiety or stress issues. I'm VERY positive that's tough! :-S

  • Hiccups make me feel sorry for her. But it's nice to feel her. Feeling her bum against my tummy is freaking hilarious. All her little clothes and toys and tiny possessions make me feel really close to her and I'll wander through her still-unfinished nursery touching this and that.
  • The hiccups are cute until you feel them in your butt. Then they are magically not so cute anymore. The little wiggles throughout the day make me smile - even the ones that hurt.
  • thanks for this! you made me smile :)
  • This is cute, how can you tell hiccups from other movements? I'm 28 weeks, maybe I'm too early yet?
  • They are regular (in every 2-3 seconds), and not as strong as movements.
  • I love when my baby girl moves she's a very active baby girl I also love her hiccups im so happy she puts my mind at ease just to know she's doing well in there makes me so happy . I can't wait to hold her and love her even more!
  • Love this!

I love how she is starting to respond to my husbands voice. It's so heartwarming. :x
Her little (but painful) kicks and jabs are adorable. Only a few more weeks! :)
