Big sibling gifts ??

My daughter is 4 and we'll be welcoming baby boy in 11 weeks! I haven't started yet but I'm planning to have a nice little Big Sister gift bag for her. All I can think of is sash/crown, Big Sister t-shirt, balloon, and maybe some lollipops or her fav chocolate kisses.

What are some things you've planned or have done for welcoming your little one into their new title ??

    She might be a perfect age for a disposable camera so she can take her own pictures of the day then you could give her a special album or frame for the pictures. It's great for show and tell too.

    As for us, ds will be 23 months at my due date. He has a big brother shirt already. We may get him something small, haven't really thought about it.

    Colored pencils and coloring book, juice box and snacks, my dd will be 2y4m when our lo is born.

    I have a friend who put together a "big sister starter kit" that had things in it that big sis could use to help out with baby. It has some small soft toys, a baby blanket, pacifiers, burp rag and could include anything you feel could help DD bond with new baby :)

    You could put a new baby doll in there so while you take care of new baby she can take care of her new baby.

    Aw my daughter is 4 also and we are having a baby boy in January!:) Congratulations!

    I really like the camera idea and stuff she can use like paci and burp cloth for baby brother! She is so excited and asks daily when he will be here.

    ETA or maybe mom with a new baby will be birth control enough. ;)

    I was 17 when my twin brothers were born, best birth control ever! I'm 29 now and will be 30 when I have my first!
