How and when are you going to bring up the new baby with other child/ren??
Mine is only 11 months now so I don't need to worry a while I guess but I don't want to rock home with a baby and her be frightened or anything either? I am thinking of putting the PNP in the spare room in the New Year so that she will know someone new will be there. I read as well that it is a good idea to get a doll but that would go over her head.
Re: Second time or more mamas.
I still can't believe I'm pregnant, so Thinking about telling them is freaking me out a little.
I was thinking of telling him when I go to my first midwife appointment that there's a tiny baby growing and they're going to check and make sure it's ok. Maybe it would be neat to have him come hear the heartbeat? I'm not sure what we'll do yet.

As soon as he came into the hospital room with my in-laws he looked around puzzled and we said "it's your baby brother!" and he started crying, "No baby brother! No baby brother!" haha I should mention that he absolutely loves his brother now, it just took like a year... lol
Ironically, like someone mentioned above, DS1 became pretty obsessed with the new baby Daniel Tiger episode when it came out a few months after his brother was born. Now DS2 will be turning 2 right before #3 is born... I'll probably read him the books and talk about baby, but I don't expect much to really sink in.
DS2 5-18-2014
DD1 EDD 6-21-2016
I have my first appt at 8 weeks, and once that's all clear & we're engaged, I'll probably let them know. They'll be super excited. She's already wondering why I'm so tired, and why I'm not having wine with dinner....Haha.
She is obsessed with being a big sister. So much so that she keeps telling me about the 'babies' in my tummy. Umm...girl, we only planned on one. I am kinda afraid she knows something I don't.
I just cant believe it. Still processing this lol.
Our 3.5yr old ds says he wants another brother so we'll see lol.
Our 1.5yr old ds Is young enough to tell now but I don't want ds and dd to hear us lol.
