Night sweats?

Is anyone else experiencing crazy night sweats? Almost nightly I wake up soaked! Weird or normal?

  • Totally normal. I woke up sweating more in my 1st tri but I still get hotter than usual.

  • This JUST happened to me the other night for the first time.  I was wearing a pair of fleece pajama pants and we have flannel sheets on our bed.  Anyway, I woke up at about 3 AM and I thought I wet my pants. I was also still half asleep so while I'm investigating my pants/leg I'm almost laughing at myself because I have never experienced this before. I ended up just being really hot from being so bundled up in bed, but I did have a little panic attack.
  • I've always had that. For me, it's caused by low blood sugar. If I eat something right before bed, like peanut butter, it doesn't happen.

  • I've had night sweats at times with each of my pregnancies, and like CRAZY for the first few weeks after baby is born.  Just a heads' up, it may rear its ugly head again...

  • Completely normal, just wait until after the baby comes. That is when the real night sweats begin.

  • Omg the postpartum night sweats. Not looking forward to that part again. I have to sleep on towels and change clothes. It's awful.

This unfortunately is not true for me :/ I occasionally eat sour jelly beans before I go to bed, or other snacks, but jelly beans last night (haha) and Ive woken up so sweaty I've had to feel myself to make sure I didn't wet the bed! Gross! It's usually only my mid section and legs.
