28 weeks and already dropped?

Someone commented to me today that it looks like I've already dropped. I don't know physically if I actually have or not but I definitely think I feel baby girl a little lower then I have. She was super active a few days ago and I can tell repositioned herself but I still feel lots of movements from her. I see the doctor tomorrow but just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if it is something I should worry about? TIA

Re: 28 weeks and already dropped?

  • Dropping does not indicate anything so don't worry about it. Some women drop early, dome immediately before labour, and some never drop. I dropped at 39 weeks with my first and never went into labour.

  • Agreed. My daughter has been super low all along and people comment that they can look at me and tell she's low. It doesn't really mean anything except that she's closer to the exit when the time comes haha
  • My son has been head down since 18 weeks, it means nothing.
  • I agree with the PPs, probably nothing to worry about. Also, I feel like "you've dropped" is one of the comments people love to say to pregnant women. I heard it a lot in the last months of pregnancy with my last two and I felt like nothing had changed!
