Frustrated with OB nurse at doctor

So my doctors office schedules an appointment with an OB history nurse at 8 weeks since LMP to go over family histories, personal histories, etc along with some labs. At that appointment I told the nurse my cycle is 39 days so I know the estimated due date is off a couple of tumes. Their process says if women meet certain criteria which I do, they are scheduled for an US within a couple days of that appointment. Only issue, if you are a week and a half earlier than they think, that US doesn't show much. So, not only did we not see anything today but we have to go back for another one in 2 weeks, all because the ob history nurse didn't listen to me and didn't trust that I know my body. It's so frustrating. I really like my OB though so it's not going to make me change but it aggravates me.

    That is totally frustrating! I had to do all of the family history stuff and labs upfront at the 5 week mark. I was kind of annoyed because I thought we were putting the cart before the horse as I was afraid I had/was about to miscarry and there they were dumping all these pregnancy booklets/hospital info sheets/free samples on me.  She also didn't listen to me about my long cycle and set me up for a transvag that day. My doctor spotted the error immediately though and scheduled me for one near 7 weeks (tomorrow).

    That's annoying. Thankfully you probably won't have to see her again, right?

    I understand how they can be annoying because they dont listen to you... I unfortunately, because DH is in the Army, don't even get an u/s to confirm at 7w, all I get is to hear the heartbeat, not an u/s, when I go back Nov 19th at 12w... Wtf what if there is no heartbeat and I've already miscarried by then, I've waited all this time and been so sick for nothing... I hate Tricare!

    Edited to note that I've had 2 miscarriages previously... So freaking out a lil!
