What size is everyone's baby wearing?

My little girl has been a slow gainer because of tongue and lip tie/feeding issues.(which we're getting fixed today!) We just started packing on serious ounces by supplementing. She's 6 weeks and is still in newborn clothes which I'm enjoying but I'm anxious for her to go into the next size because that will be a good sign that she's gaining. Still in newborn pampers too. She's about 8 lbs 3 ounces. Just curious how everyone's LO is doing size and clothing wise!?

  • My baby is 8 lbs 4 oz and is still in newborn clothes and diapers. She'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. I'm in the same boat as you.

  • My little guy turned 5 weeks on Monday. He was 11 lbs at his one month appointment. He's in 3 month clothes but on the verge of needing 3-6. Solidly in size 1 diapers.

  • My LO is 4 weeks but he skipped newborn clothes and diapers at birth. He was 23" long and 9lb 11oz. He is wearing 3 month clothes but is too skinny for most of them

My LO is 7 weeks and 8 pounds 9 ounces and wears newborn clothes and diapers. She hasn't had any trouble gaining but was born a bit on the smaller side (6.5) because she was 3 weeks early.

As long as the babies are healthy I'm enjoying my little one being little-- we will get lots of use of all her clothes and she is still easy to carry, which I know won't be true for long!
  • My LO is 2.5 weeks 11lbs. He fit in NB size for like one day! Lol. He wear 0-3 and even some 3-6months.
  • My little man is 9 pounds (probably closer to ten since I haven't weighted him in a while but we're still primarily in newborn clothes since the 0-3 months is huge on him. We're in newborn diapers also, but I think we're gonna switch to size 1 (which are also huge) today because he keeps leaking out of the NB
  • My LO is almost 5 weeks, 8lbs 11 oz... We just moved to size one diapers and 0-3 clothing. Her newborn footies got too short, she grew an inch in 2 weeks!!
  • He's still in NB diapers at 5 weeks, but just moved up to his three month clothes. He's really long (50th percentile), but skinny (10th percentile). Baby clothes sizes are so crazily inconsistent. I didn't think my baby would struggle like I do jean shopping to get a good fit.
  • My guy, who will be 6 weeks tomorrow, is 7lbs 12 oz as of today. We've had lots of feeding issues. Still in NB everything.
  • 6 weeks, 12+ lbs. Switching to size 2 diapers today and he's started outgrowing 0-3 month clothes. He was 8 lbs at birth but is big, 80+ percentile in length and weight at his last appointment- newborn diapers and clothes fit for a week or 2 and then he had to move up.
  • My DD is 8 weeks and around 13 lbs. She is in 3 month clothes and size 1 diapers.
  • My 5.5 week old DD still fits in most of her newborn clothes but there are a few pieces that have become too short. She can wear some 3 month onesies but 3 month pants are super big on her still. Size one diapers. I'm not sure what her weight is now, she was 8lb 4oz at three weeks
  • We skipped Newborn and went straight to 0-3 Months. Born at 9lbs 4oz and weighed 10lbs at 2 week check up. He is 3.5 weeks now and fits solidly in the 0-3 Months size.
  • My lo was 12 lbs 9oz as of last week (6 weeks). He is outgrowing the 0-3 months, and I've been hunting around the house for the 3-6 month clothes.

  • My boy is 7 weeks and in 0-3 clothing, size 1 diapers, but I anticipate he'll be in 3-6 months and size 2 diapers within a week. He was 8 lb 10 oz at birth (born 11 days early) and never fit into newborn clothing. At his 4-week exam he was 11 lb 2 oz (86th percentile) and 23 inches long (98th percentile). He's a big dude, which makes carrying him around exhausting but my arms are going to be ripped! Lol.
  • My daughter is 6 weeks, 11lbs and 22 inches long. She is in 0-3 month onesies and NB pants. She has short legs and the 0-3 month pants are too long. :)
  • I don't know what LO weighs (8 lbs 10 oz at birth) but we have his 2 month appointment on Monday. He's been in 3-6 month clothing since 5 weeks, and some of those are starting to be snug. The feet are always too small in any footed sleepers. We'll be moving into 6-9 month clothing probably in the next week or so. He's a big baby. He is wide awake and alert ALL day, has been rolling over for a while and is a tummy time champ. I keep forgetting he's only 7 weeks, lol.

  • My little man is 7 weeks old was 9lb 7oz on Monday and we moved up to 0-3 month clothes and size 1 Diapers Sunday. He was 5lb 1.3oz at birth but got down to 4lb 11.5oz before he started to gain again so we started out in preemie clothes. His 0-3 all fit in length but are way to big around but newborn is all way to short and too tight in the legs so we are just making it work till he fills out some more.
  • Little guy is seven weeks and in 3 to 6 month clothes and about to outgrow size 1 diapers
  • My little girl is 5.5 weeks and is wearing 0-3 months purely for the length. They're still baggy on her. Some of her newborn stuff still fits.
  • I'd bet we are about 12 lbs now, he has been gaining steadily... he is 5.5 weeks and I'm getting out the 3 month stuff. Some 0-3 still fits nicely and some is starting to be outgrown. We cloth diaper, so the added bulk makes me have to size up earlier I think. I'll swap it all over by the weekend, when he will turn 6 weeks old.

My big guy rolled over from tummy to back last week (7 weeks now) ... I was shocked!

At 6 weeks he's now 12.7 lbs and were in size 2 diapers and 3 months clothes
  • LO is an 8 week old preemie. She weighs a little over 8 lbs and is almost 22 inches long. Her newborn footie pajamas don't fit due to length, but any other newborn clothes still fit. I just started her on size 1 diapers, but they are pretty baggy. Her belly is kind of round due to gas.
  • My LO is 6 weeks old, and wearing 3-6 month clothes, and size 1 diapers since week 5! He's skinny and long. He swims in everything but the 0-3 is too short, 3 month fit PERFECT at the moment. But everything he wears is 3-6 month!
  • Our little girl is already in 0-3. We switched her over to them around her 3 week. And also switched her to size 1 in diapers around 3 week because our friend just had a baby and around that time we had size 1 delivered. So we gave the N (120 of them) to our friend.
  • ...Q is almost 9 weeks (Friday) was born at 10 pounds and is 15 pounds 12 oz., and he's wearing six month clothes and some small nine months stuff. I just moved him up to size three diapers because he was blowing up the twos. Quite frankly, I'm a little upset at the bigger diaper size because I have to spend more money for less diapers.
  • Our five week old son was exactly 7 lb at birth and only 19 inches tall. He surpassed his birth weight by week 2, but I don't know how much he weighs now. Next appointment is next week. NB clothes still fit but he's no longer swimming around in them. A couple of footie pajama suits are now too short to use and we are using size 1 diapers mostly because we ran out of the newborn size. I found and used a newborn diaper the other day and it was very small on him. We have long, thin children... I guess he'll be like his brother. Tall and skinny with no bottom!
Btw I'm a leetle tired of the "he's so tiny" comments... I'm breastfeeding and he's very contented and sleeps well and has lots of wet and dirty diapers so I kinda take it as a comment against my ability to feed him enough even though I know that's not their intention...
Thanks for this post! The fact that several other babies are smallish helps me... Also the fact that all the babies are so different :) healthy is healthy and no one follows exactly the same curve.
  • LO is 5 weeks and just shy of 10 pounds. He's also long (22 inches) and skinny, so he still fits in his newborn clothes though 0-3 fits also. He's still in newborn diapers and I thought they fit bit he...overflowed twice today so I guess we are moving up in that department! Oops.
  • LO is 8 weeks and still wears newborn huggies diapers. She can still fit newborn onsies/shirts/pants but she is too long for the one piece outfits with feet. And 3 month clothes she is swimming in she weighed 7lbs 5 oz at her 1 month checkup so I guessing she is closer to 8.5 now but she is long and skinny and very inbetween sizes. 0-3 months are usually a safe bet
  • LO turned 6 weeks thus past Tuesday and I think has hit the 9lb mark. She was 6lb 15oz when born and dropped to 6lb even. We are now starting to outgrow our newborn clothes. Some of the larger things still fit, but definitely going to have to move to 0-3 months in the next few days. We are still in newborn diapers, but they are starting to get tight, especially around the thighs.
  • 3.5 weeks here at her last visit this past Saturday she was 9 pounds 2 ounces (was 8.1 at birth) we are moving into size 1 diapers I have found that huggies swaddlers run smaller than pampers swaddlers so we finished out the pampers and only 11 left over from the huggies (pretty proud how well that worked out lol) still in newborn clothes for now :-)
  • 3-6 months at 5 weeks!

  • My son was born at 5 pounds 15 ounces. He is now 7 weeks old and 9 pounds 5 ounces. He is 10th percentile for weight and 55th for height. He currently lives in sleepers so we switched to 0-3 at 4 weeks since they were too short on him. He now fits pretty well in his 0-3 clothes. We are still in newborn diapers since he is skinny the size 1 are still too big. I am sure we will switch to size 1 by the time he is 2 months old.
  • my girl is 7 weeks and about 12 pounds, she is wearing size 3 mo mainly for length. and I'm about ready to move her to size 2 diapers. I don't want to, I have a bunch of size 1 left and only one pack of size 2 on hand (and no money right now, heh); but they are getting REALLY small on her :(
  • Mine is a little guy, but long. He is 5 weeks and 7 lbs, 11 oz. Mostly in newborns, but some are too short. He's 22 inches long.
  • We just moved to size 1 diapers, but they're not as snug as I would prefer. NBs are too snug, though.
