First AF?

Finally got what may be my first AF since my d&c almost 6 weeks ago. Had cramps for 2 days and very light spotting for 3 days. Has anyone else had this and confirmed it was AF? Or should I be worried and call my dr?

    With my first loss I had light spotting about 4-5 weeks later. I thought ok that was easy. A week or 2 later I had a real AF. Horrible. This last d&c I was waiting for AF and had no spotting by 5 weeks so I took a hpt. Postive. I'm about 4 weeks pregnant. Did your dr follow your numbers to zero? Sorry for your loss.

    Sorry for your losses as well. Yes, had my numbers checked on 10/13. Finally came back as "less than 1". And then I had the spotting and cramps from 10/14-10/16. At my follow up after my d&c he said everything seemed fine and that I should have no problems, but I'm not sure if I can even consider the spotting to be AF.

    i'm sorry for your loss.

    Generally it should be considered a period when you need a pad or tampon (more than just a liner). If you didn't need either, for now I would assume it was mid-cycle spotting, which can happen at any time, and assume you were still waiting for your period to return.
