I'm trying to google to see if my post IUI symptoms mean anything but can't find any consistent information. Yesterday was 4 days Post IUI and I had lower abdominal cramps that seemed to be confined to the right side (still do actually). Also, I can't stop running to the bathroom! Not only am I peeing like every 15 min but I can't even hold it. Yesterday on my long drive to work I actually had to stop twice!!!
Any thoughts as to whether or not this is a good sign
Re: can't stop peeing after IUI!!! good or bad?
I meant to say "good or bad sign" somehow the bad got dropped. I know it's not possible to be pregnant at 5 days post iui but I was wondering if this is an indication of anything and if anyone else experienced this. Other than frequent urination I have no other symptoms of a bladder infection.
I was hoping it's a sign of implantation but that doesn't happen till 6-12 days so too early for that. I read somewhere that the trigger shot can cause that however usually right after and not 4 days post.
I say this with all due respect because I know the tww can drive us all a bit mad.... Ur contradicting ur self. U said u know that u can't yet be pregnant-- but in the same quote ur wanting to know if frequent urination could mean you're pregnant. Frequent urination wouldn't be a symptom for u at this point. I know the Tww is brutal, but symptom spotting (especially this early on) will only drive u crazy. Ur cervix and vaginal area might just be irritated from the iui so it's causing that feeling of urgency- I don't know what else it would be.. I can only tell u what it's definitely not. ETA: agreed with the other posters- could be progesterone too

It's EXTREMELY difficult to not pay closer attention to everything your body does during the tww, especially after an infertility treatment and this may set you up for disappointment.
I remember feeling every cramp, twinge, pull, muscle movement during my countless tww and it drove me bananas. Sometimes, I think I was feeling phantom pains because I wanted so badly to be pregnant. When I did get my BFPs, I always swore the days leading up to them that I wasn't pregnant as I felt no different.
I just don't want you to get your hopes up from symptom spotting and possibly set yourself up for a bigger disappointment if this cycle doesn't work.
I suggest calling your clinic and telling them about your frequent urination at this stage of treatment and possible pregnancy. It may be nothing or it could be some type of infection from the iui.
I'm now 10 days post IUI and I still can't stop peeing and just can't hold it. I got a pedicure during lunch break and even though I just went right before leaving work I couldn't hold it till then and tome the pedicurist sorry but I really need a potty break. She said can you wait 5 min I said sorry no.
3 more days !

I sent a message to the doc's nurse, and got a message back that this is a side effect for some of the progesterone suppository, even though I would say I noticed I think before I started progesterone, but the progesterone is likely a large contributor because I noticed these days that it's more pronounced during the night and before noonish, its not as bad later in the day. I take the progesterone close to bed time. I know that I was drinking more water post IUI to help with the major bloat. I go back in Friday but she said come in sooner if it gets worse I have new symp.
Honestly though, I'm not worried about anything serious, I don't have other symp of UTI so I'm not concerned about anything going on that can't resolve itself.
I'm a physician myself and treat and dx infections (although ones dealing with a totally different body part). I can sense when something is "not right" and worthy of intervention-I didn't think this was one of them. Its an annoyance for sure. I just wanted to share ladies, that's all
